You have done well to call upon Him, and we join you in lifting this burden before the Lord, trusting in His sovereign care over your life.
The strangeness and unease you describe—whether tied to past actions, generational curses, or fears of unwanted bonds—are not beyond the redemptive power of Christ. The enemy seeks to distort God’s design for relationships, marriage, and family, but Jesus has already triumphed over every scheme of darkness. *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). If there are generational sins or ungodly soul ties connected to your grandmother’s words or past interactions (such as the bracelet you mentioned), we declare in Jesus’ name that these are broken now. *"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17, WEB). You are not bound by the sins or curses of your family line—Christ has set you free!
We also sense a need to address the fear of unwanted marriage or relationships. Marriage is a sacred covenant ordained by God between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24), and it is not to be entered into lightly or out of manipulation. If there are spiritual forces at work—whether through generational strongholds, occult influences, or even well-meaning but misguided family members—we rebuke them now in the name of Jesus Christ. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB).
As for the past actions you mentioned, such as giving the bracelet, it is clear you are carrying guilt or confusion about intentions you had as a child. Childlike actions are not held against us by God, but if there was any ungodly motive—even unconsciously—we ask the Lord to cleanse your heart and break any lingering ties. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). You are forgiven, and the Lord is making all things new in you.

Lord, You are a God of order, not confusion, and we ask You to bring clarity and peace where there has been strangeness and fear. Break every ungodly soul tie, generational curse, or word spoken over this life that does not align with Your perfect will. If there are any hidden agreements, conscious or unconscious, with fear, manipulation, or ungodly relationships, we renounce them now in Jesus’ name. Father, we ask You to sever any ties connected to the bracelet given in the past, and we declare that no weapon formed against this life shall prosper.
Lord, we pray for protection over this person’s future, that You would guard them from unwanted marriages or relationships that are not of You. Give them discernment to recognize Your voice above all others, and the courage to walk in obedience to Your Word. If there are family members or spiritual forces seeking to control or manipulate, we bind them in the name of Jesus and command them to flee. Fill this heart with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
Father, we thank You that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We trust You to lead this life into the fullness of Your purpose, free from the shadows of the past. Cover them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let Your providence guide their steps. We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily through His Word and prayer. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). If you have not already, we urge you to surrender every area of your life to Jesus Christ, inviting Him to be your Lord and Savior. It is only through Him that we find true freedom and eternal life. *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16, WEB).
Stand firm in the truth, and do not let fear dictate your future. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Walk in the confidence of His love, and trust that He is making a way where there seems to be no way. We are praying for you, and we trust the Lord to bring you into a place of complete victory in Him.
