Jesus Christ, please help me. I was wondering if the church with its military background had cursed its followers with various birth defect and weakness to prevent military enlistment. I have an anxious and unrealistic fear of talent thievory and redistribution to the favored. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep concern, lifting your fears and questions to the One who holds all wisdom and power. It is clear that anxiety and unsettling thoughts have taken root in your heart, and we want to address these with the truth of God’s Word, for His truth is what sets us free.

First, let us speak to the fear you have expressed about curses and birth defects tied to a church with a military background. The Bible is clear that curses do not come from God’s people unless they are actively engaging in sin or idolatry that invites judgment. In Deuteronomy 28, we see blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience—but these are tied to *individual* and *national* turning away from God, not from an institution like a church simply because of its history. More importantly, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, as Galatians 3:13 declares: *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'"* If you are in Christ, no curse—real or imagined—can stand against you. The idea that a church could systematically curse its followers with birth defects to prevent military service is not supported by Scripture. Such fears may stem from a spiritual stronghold of suspicion or even a form of superstition, which we must reject in the name of Jesus. Instead, we are called to trust in God’s sovereignty over all things, including our physical bodies and the circumstances of our lives.

As for your fear of "talent thievory" and redistribution to the favored, this too must be confronted with truth. The Bible warns against envy and the fear of man, which can distort our perception of reality. Proverbs 29:25 says, *"The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe."* Your talents, gifts, and abilities are given by God for *His* purposes, not to be hoarded in fear or compared to others. In 1 Peter 4:10, we are told, *"As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms."* If you sense that others are being favored, remember that God’s ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). He distributes gifts as He sees fit for His glory and the building up of His body. Your focus should not be on what others have but on stewarding well what *you* have been given. Fear of losing what God has entrusted to you is a lie from the enemy, designed to paralyze you. Instead, we are to walk in faith, knowing that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7).

Now, let us address the way you closed your prayer. You thanked "Jesus" and then added "in Jesus’ name, Amen." While this is not wrong, we want to gently remind you of the power and necessity of praying *explicitly* in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). When we pray, we come boldly before the throne of grace *because of Jesus*, not because of our own merit. So let us always be intentional in acknowledging Him as our Lord and Savior, the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You now on behalf of Your child who is burdened by fears and anxieties that do not align with Your truth. Lord, we ask that You break every stronghold of fear, superstition, and distrust that has taken root in their heart. Replace these lies with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and the assurance that *nothing* can separate us from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).

We rebuke the spirit of fear and accusation that has whispered curses and theft where You have declared blessing and provision. Your Word says that *"perfect love casts out fear"* (1 John 4:18), and we ask that You flood this heart with Your perfect love, driving out every shadow of doubt. Remind them that their gifts, talents, and very life belong to You, and no one can snatch them away (John 10:28). Teach them to trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

We also lift up any confusion or misunderstanding about prayer in Jesus’ name. Open their eyes to the truth that salvation and access to You come through Christ alone. Strengthen their faith to pray boldly in His name, knowing that He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

Lord, we ask for healing where there is brokenness, clarity where there is confusion, and faith where there is fear. Let them walk in the freedom You purchased on the cross, no longer bound by anxieties but empowered by Your Spirit to live for Your glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, friend, lifting your concerns to our loving Father. We understand that you're feeling anxious and uncertain, and we want to assure you that God is with you in these feelings, just as He was with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane.

Firstly, let's address the worry about curses and birth defects. The Bible tells us that God is a God of love and goodness, not a God who curses His children. Yes, there are consequences for sin, but these are not arbitrary or malicious. Moreover, Jesus took upon Himself every curse when He died on the cross (Galatians 3:13). So, if you're in Christ, no curse can stand against you. This includes any imagined curse from a church's past. We must trust in God's sovereignty and providence, even when we don't understand everything.

Now, about the fear of talent theft and redistribution. Remember, God gives gifts to be used for His glory and the benefit of others, not to be hoarded or compared. In Matthew 25:14-30, we see the parable of the talents, where the master rewards those who use their talents wisely, not those who bury them out of fear. Trust that God knows what He's doing with the gifts He's given to others. Your focus should be on stewarding well what you've been given, not on what others have.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep praying in Jesus' name. It's not just a closing phrase; it's a powerful truth. Jesus said, "Whatever you ask in my name, I will do" (John 14:13). Praying in Jesus' name means we're praying in the authority and power of His sacrifice and resurrection. It's not about our worthiness, but His.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today on behalf of our friend. Lord, we ask You to calm their anxious heart and replace fear with Your perfect peace. Help them to trust in Your love and sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for their good.

We rebuke the spirit of fear that's been whispering lies, and we ask You to fill them with Your love, driving out every shadow of doubt. Help them to see their gifts as blessings from You, to be used for Your glory, not hoarded in fear.

Lord, we also ask for clarity in their understanding of praying in Jesus' name. Help them to pray boldly, knowing that they have access to You through Christ alone.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are deeply grateful for the privilege to stand with you in prayer during this time of concern and spiritual warfare. It is clear that your heart is seeking the Lord’s truth and protection, and we have lifted up your fears about generational strongholds, the enemy’s lies, and the anxieties that have weighed on you. We continue to pray for God’s peace to guard your mind, for His truth to dismantle every false accusation against His people, and for His perfect love to cast out all fear.

If the Lord has already brought breakthrough, clarity, or deliverance in this area, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report so we may rejoice with you. If the battle still feels ongoing, we encourage you to post this request again and allow us to persist in prayer alongside you. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life—and have it abundantly. Stand firm in the authority of Christ, knowing that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn.

May the Holy Spirit strengthen you with might in your inner man, may the Father’s peace that surpasses all understanding keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and may you walk in the fullness of His provision and protection. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen.
