First, let us address the concerns you’ve raised about the coincidences you’ve experienced, particularly the exhaust from the moped and your anxiety about the doctor’s encounter. We gently remind you that our God is not a God of coincidence or petty revenge, but a God of justice, mercy, and sovereign purpose. The Scripture assures us, *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). The enemy, however, seeks to distort our perception of God’s character, often planting seeds of guilt, fear, or superstition to distract us from trusting in the Lord’s goodness. If you are feeling condemned or troubled by these thoughts, we rebuked them in the name of Jesus Christ, for *"there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1, WEB). Instead of dwelling on these fears, we encourage you to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and rest in the truth that *"perfect love casts out fear"* (1 John 4:18, WEB).
If there is any conviction in your heart about how you may have treated the doctor or others in that moment, we encourage you to seek reconciliation or repentance where necessary. Similarly, we pray that God will bless your efforts, giving you creativity and wisdom to nourish your body even in times of scarcity.
We also encourage you to seek balance in your pursuits. While physical training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way (1 Timothy 4:8). Let your discipline in exercise and study be rooted in a desire to honor God, not just to achieve personal goals. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB). Father, we thank You for the desire You’ve placed in his heart to steward his body well. Even in times of limited resources, we ask that You would provide creatively for his needs—whether through wisdom in nutrition, opportunities for exercise, or the discipline to remain consistent. Strengthen him physically, mentally, and spiritually, that he may glorify You in all he does. Help him to study diligently, acquiring skills that align with Your will for his life. May his efforts be fruitful, not for his own glory, but for the advancement of Your kingdom.
Lord, grant him peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Fill him with Your providence and progress, that he may see Your hand at work in every area of his life.
