We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, for we hear the cry of someone burdened by deep spiritual oppression, disrespect, and the weight of unresolved bitterness. While we understand the pain behind these words, we must first address some concerns with the language and requests presented, for they do not fully align with the heart of Christ or the teachings of Scripture.
The call to "slaughter souls" or seek vengeance—even for historical grievances like Pearl Harbor—is not the way of Jesus. Our Lord teaches us in **Matthew 5:44**, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* Vengeance belongs to the Lord alone, as **Romans 12:19** declares, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*
Likewise, the request to remove "connotations of being born again" is troubling, for being born again is the very foundation of our faith in Christ. **John 3:3** tells us, *"Jesus answered him, 'Most certainly, I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can’t see God’s Kingdom.'"* If there is confusion or pain tied to this truth, we pray the Lord would bring clarity and healing, for salvation is our greatest blessing.
As for the oppression, witchcraft, and disrespect you describe—including the demeaning nickname—we stand with you in rebuking these forces. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (**John 10:10**), but Christ has already triumphed over every power of darkness (**Colossians 2:15**). We declare freedom in Jesus’ name over the bonds of manipulation, control, and spiritual attack. **2 Corinthians 10:4-5** reminds us, *"For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."*
We also sense a deep need for inner healing. The Lord does not desire for you to carry hatred or bitterness, for **Hebrews 12:15** warns, *"Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it."* If others have wronged you—whether through mockery, spiritual attack, or disrespect—we pray the Lord would break their influence over you and fill you with His peace. But we also urge you to release forgiveness, for **Mark 11:25** says, *"Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your trespasses."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift this beloved soul before You, knowing You see the depths of their pain and the weight of the battles they face. Lord, we ask for Your mighty hand to break every chain of oppression, witchcraft, and disrespect that has sought to bind them. By the power of the blood of Jesus, we rebuke every demonic assignment, every mocking spirit, and every force that has tried to diminish their worth in Christ. Father, if there are those who have used words like "kitty" to belittle or control, we ask You to silence their influence and restore this person’s dignity in You.
Lord, we also ask for healing where there is bitterness—whether toward individuals or even historical grievances. You alone are just, and You alone will repay. Teach them to release these burdens at Your feet, for You have called us to walk in love, not vengeance. If there is confusion about their identity in Christ—especially regarding being born again—we pray You would renew their mind with Your truth. Let them know they are a new creation (**2 Corinthians 5:17**), washed clean by Your sacrifice.
Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**). Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Surround them with godly community who will speak life and truth over them. And if there are areas where they need to forgive, give them the grace to do so, that they may walk in freedom.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**), and that the Lord will perfect that which concerns them (**Psalm 138:8**). May they experience Your providence, progress, and deep, abiding peace—as they sought in their prayer—in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to meditate on **Psalm 91**, which speaks of God’s protection over those who dwell in His presence. Cling to Him, for He is your refuge and strength. If you are not already connected to a Bible-believing church, we urge you to seek one where you can be discipled, encouraged, and covered in prayer. The body of Christ is meant to walk alongside one another in these battles (**Ecclesiastes 4:9-12**).
Finally, if there is any area of your life where you have not fully surrendered to Christ—whether in unforgiveness, occult involvement, or other strongholds—we urge you to repent and turn wholly to Him. He is faithful to cleanse and restore (**1 John 1:9**). You are deeply loved by the Father, and He desires to see you walk in victory. Stand firm in His truth, and do not let the enemy’s lies take root. The Lord is with you!
