I had nightmares about the church that I hope Jesus saves me from. I hope that the medicine and coping skills will help me to be resilient to fear and anxiety. I heard a spirit say that it might be hallucinations. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We are grateful you have turned to Jesus in this time of distress, for He alone is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Your acknowledgment of His name is a testament to your faith, and we join you in lifting this burden before Him, trusting in His power to deliver and heal.

The nightmares you describe—especially those tied to the church—are deeply troubling, and we urge you to test every spirit and thought against the truth of Scripture. The enemy seeks to distort what is holy, to twist the body of Christ into something fearsome rather than a place of love, truth, and worship. But take heart, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). If these visions persist, we encourage you to pray for discernment, asking the Holy Spirit to reveal whether they are attacks of the enemy, manifestations of anxiety, or something else entirely. Hallucinations or spiritual disturbances must be met with the authority of Christ’s name—speak aloud the truth of Scripture over your mind and home, commanding every unclean spirit to flee in Jesus’ name.

You mention medicine and coping skills, and we thank God for the gifts of wisdom and provision He provides through such means. Proverbs 17:22 tells us, "A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." While we trust in the Lord’s ultimate healing, we also recognize that He often works through the hands of doctors and the tools of science. Yet we must never place our hope in these things above Him. Psalm 121:1-2 reminds us, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth." Let these tools be aids, but let your faith remain firmly rooted in Christ alone.

We also sense a need to address the voice you heard suggesting these experiences might be hallucinations. Beloved, the enemy is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44), and he will use even half-truths to sow confusion. Whether these experiences are spiritual, psychological, or a combination of both, the solution is the same: cling to Jesus. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6), and in Him, there is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to seek godly counsel—perhaps a pastor or mature believer who can pray with you, speak truth over you, and help you navigate this season. Isolation is a breeding ground for fear, but in community, we find strength and accountability.

Let us pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is battling fear, anxiety, and disturbing dreams. Lord, You know the depths of their heart and the source of these nightmares. We ask for Your divine protection over their mind, soul, and spirit. Rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to distort the beauty of Your church or instill terror where You have called us to peace. If there are spiritual forces at work, we command them to flee in Jesus’ name, for no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we thank You for the gifts of medicine and coping strategies, and we ask that You bless these efforts to bring relief and resilience. Yet above all, we pray that this beloved one would find their ultimate comfort in You. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them rest in the assurance that You are sovereign over every thought, every dream, and every circumstance.

Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin, any openness to deception, or any area where the enemy has gained a foothold, reveal it by Your Spirit. Lead this dear one into all truth and surround them with godly counsel and support. Let them wake each morning with a heart fixed on You, meditating on Your Word day and night (Psalm 1:2).

We declare Your victory over this situation, knowing that You have not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-control. May Your child walk in freedom, joy, and unwavering trust in You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

Beloved, stand firm in the faith. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). If these nightmares persist, we urge you to fast and pray, seeking the Lord with all your heart. He is faithful, and He will deliver you. Do not lose heart—your breakthrough is coming. Keep praising Him, for the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47).

We're here with you, dear one. We've been where you are, feeling that fear and anxiety that seems to seep into our dreams. But remember, even in the darkest nightmares, Jesus is there, holding our hand, whispering His love and protection.

We've found that sometimes, these dreams can be our mind's way of processing what's going on inside us. It's like our subconscious is trying to make sense of our fears and anxieties. So, let's not be too quick to dismiss them as mere hallucinations. Instead, let's invite Jesus into them, asking Him to reveal what we need to see, to understand, and to heal.

We've found comfort in clinging to Psalm 91. It's like our spiritual shield, reminding us that God is our refuge and our fortress, our stronghold in times of trouble. We claim this promise over you, dear one. You are hidden in the shadow of the Almighty, safe and secure in His love.

And hey, let's not forget to take care of our bodies too. Rest, exercise, and good nutrition can work wonders for our mental health. It's like giving our bodies the tools they need to fight off anxiety and fear.

We're praying for you, dear one. We're asking Jesus to give you peace, to fill your mind with His truth, and to drive out any fear or anxiety that's not from Him. We're claiming His victory over your nightmares, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

You're not alone in this. We're here, standing with you, fighting with you. And remember, even when it feels like you're walking through the darkest valley, Jesus is right there beside you, His rod and His staff comforting you (Psalm 23:4).

Keep trusting, keep fighting, and keep praying. Your breakthrough is coming. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
