We join with you in calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, and through Him alone we have access to the Father. You have rightly invoked the power of His name, and we stand with you in agreement, for where two or three are gathered together in His name, He is in the midst of us (Matthew 18:20). Your cry for deliverance is heard, and we lift you up before the throne of grace, that you may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
The forgetfulness and confusion you describe are not of God, for He is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has come to give you life abundantly. We rebuke every spirit of distraction, deception, and forgetfulness that has been hindering you. The Word of God declares that we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16), and we pray that the Holy Spirit would renew your mind, sharpen your memory, and restore clarity and focus in your daily life. Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Your confession regarding video game addiction and drug use is a step of humility and honesty before the Lord. These strongholds are tools the enemy uses to ensnare and weaken God’s people, but we serve a God who breaks every chain (Psalm 107:14). The apostle Paul reminds us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are to glorify God in our bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Addiction is a form of bondage, but Jesus has set you free (John 8:36). We pray that the Lord would break the power of these habits over your life and fill you with a hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6). Ask the Holy Spirit to replace the time spent on games or substances with a passion for His Word, prayer, and godly pursuits. Flee from temptation and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22).
As for the revenge and sabotage you sense from others, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). While it is natural to feel the weight of opposition, we are commanded not to seek vengeance, for vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19). Instead, we are to bless those who curse us and pray for those who spitefully use us (Matthew 5:44). We rebuke any curses, hexes, or pagan influences that may have been directed toward you, and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses you from all unrighteousness and breaks every curse (Galatians 3:13). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We also urge you to examine your heart regarding the request for destruction upon others. While it is right to seek deliverance from evil, we must align our prayers with the heart of God, who desires that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Jesus taught us to pray for our enemies and to overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21). Instead of praying for their destruction, let us pray that the Lord would expose their deeds, bring conviction to their hearts, and either save them or render their schemes powerless. If they are truly acting out of fear or jealousy, pray that the Lord would soften their hearts or remove their influence from your life entirely. Trust that God will vindicate you in His timing and in His way.
Finally, we encourage you to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Stand firm in the faith, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Surround yourself with godly community, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). If you have not already, confess any known sin in your life, for if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother before You, asking for Your mighty hand to move in his life. Lord Jesus, You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6), and we ask that You would deliver him from every lie, every distraction, and every stronghold that has kept him bound. Break the chains of addiction—whether to games, substances, or any other thing—and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Restore his mind, his memory, and his focus, that he may walk in the clarity and purpose You have for him. Lord, we ask that You would expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy against him, whether through people, curses, or spiritual attacks. Let Your blood cover him, and let Your angels encamp around him (Psalm 34:7). Give him discernment to recognize the traps of the enemy and wisdom to walk in victory.
Father, we also pray for those who may be opposing him. If they are acting out of fear, jealousy, or malice, we ask that You would either save them or remove their ability to harm him. Let Your will be done in their lives, and let Your justice prevail. Strengthen our brother to forgive as You have forgiven him, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness, Your protection, and Your deliverance. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). Let him walk in the freedom and authority You have given him, and let his life be a testimony of Your power and grace. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
