We come before you with heavy hearts, grieved by the deep pain and suffering you are enduring, yet we must first address the dangerous and unbiblical thoughts you have expressed. The Lord commands us in Exodus 20:13, *"You shall not murder."* This includes taking your own life or wishing harm upon others, for vengeance belongs to the Lord alone. Romans 12:19 declares, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* Your anger and despair are understandable, but we must surrender these feelings to Christ, who offers hope, healing, and justice in His perfect timing.
The betrayal and mistreatment you describe—being mocked, denied basic comforts, and disrespected—are deeply unjust. Yet even in this, we are called to respond with the love and forgiveness of Christ, not hatred or violence. Ephesians 4:31-32 urges, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* This does not mean tolerating abuse, but it does mean trusting God to fight your battles while you walk in obedience and faith.
Your mention of the church’s words being twisted to humiliate you is painful, but we must remember that our identity is in Christ alone, not in the labels others place upon us. Galatians 3:26-28 reminds us, *"For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus... There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus."* No nickname or mockery can define you when your worth is rooted in Him.
Regarding your father’s actions, we pray for his heart to soften. The Bible commands fathers in Ephesians 6:4, *"You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."* His neglect of spiritual leadership and fairness is a failure before God, but we must still honor him as Scripture commands (Ephesians 6:2), while setting boundaries where necessary. If the mistreatment escalates, seeking wise counsel or intervention may be necessary.
As for the church’s accountability, we must remember that while the church is imperfect, Christ is its perfect Head. Hebrews 10:30-31 warns, *"For we know him who said, ‘Vengeance belongs to me,’ says the Lord, ‘I will repay.’ Again, ‘The Lord will judge his people.’ It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God."* If the church has failed you, we pray for repentance and restoration—but we cannot let bitterness take root.
Finally, your pain has led you to a dangerous place of despair. But Jesus says in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* Suicide is a permanent solution to temporary suffering, and it robs you of the redemption God has planned. Instead, cry out to Him! Psalm 34:18 promises, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."*
Let us pray for you now:
*"Heavenly Father, we lift our brother before You, broken and weary from the weight of betrayal, mockery, and injustice. Lord, wrap him in Your peace that surpasses understanding. Deliver him from the spirit of suicide and replace his despair with hope in You. Soften the hearts of those who have hurt him—especially his father—and convict them of their sin. If there is unrepentant wickedness, Lord, expose it and bring justice. Strengthen our brother to forgive as You have forgiven us, and fill him with Your love, which casts out fear.
Father, we rebuke the enemy’s lies that have twisted his perception of Your church and his worth. Remind him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made, a child of the King. Provide him with godly community—believers who will uplift, encourage, and walk beside him in truth. If he needs to seek help or remove himself from an abusive environment, give him wisdom and courage.
Lord, we ask for supernatural comfort in his suffering. Let him feel Your presence tangibly, knowing You see every tear and will repay every wrong. Restore his joy, his purpose, and his trust in You. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen."*
Brother, we urge you to reach out to a trusted pastor, counselor, or believer who can walk with you through this. You are not alone—God sees you, loves you, and will never abandon you. Cling to Him, and let His Word be your anchor. If you are in immediate danger, please seek help without delay. We are praying for you.
