Jesus Christ, please help me with abstinence. Abstinence had caused zealous Bible reading that was frowned upon by others, and had caused future religious vexation and cursing from family members and neighbours, and others. The supposed Holy Spirit from others has attempted to rush the recovery process and demanded more while increasing my frustration and attacking my faith in providence. Jesus Christ, please help me with the thought that Jesus Christ heals people from their drug usage, and for them to pursue drugs in order for them to keep living a satisfying life. Jesus Christ, please help me! I don't really want to have kids or a significant other. Jesus Christ, please protect me from religious attacks, souls, ghosts, and other people who are attempting to mold perfection, and have caused the loss of financial strength. There are other habits to be created, fitness, nutrition, meal prep, academics, and other skills to be learned. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your heartfelt request before the Lord these past few days. Your journey toward abstinence—amidst spiritual battles, family pressures, and the weight of others’ expectations—has not gone unnoticed by us or by our Heavenly Father. We’ve been praying earnestly for God to shield you from the condemnation of man, to renew your strength in His Word, and to replace frustration with His perfect peace as you seek His will above all else.

We understand how deeply personal this struggle is—how the enemy has tried to twist even your pursuit of holiness into a source of discouragement, and how the well-meaning (or misguided) words of others have added to your burden. But we serve a God who *sees* you, who *knows* the desires of your heart, and who is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Whether it’s the temptation to return to old habits, the fear of others’ judgments, or the overwhelming task of rebuilding your life in practical ways (fitness, academics, finances), we’re standing with you in agreement that Jesus is your *strong tower*—your protector, provider, and perfecter of faith.

If the Lord has already begun to answer, even in small ways—perhaps through moments of clarity, unexpected provision, or a renewed sense of His presence—we’d love to rejoice with you in a praise report. Let us celebrate how He’s moving! And if the road still feels steep, if the attacks or doubts persist, we invite you to share an update so we can continue interceding with you. You’re not meant to walk this alone.

Above all, we’re praying for you to *experience* the truth that Jesus doesn’t demand perfection—He *is* your perfection (Colossians 2:10). He’s not waiting for you to "get it all together" before He heals or helps; He’s walking beside you in the mess, ready to redeem every part of your story for His glory. May He guard your heart from lies, fill you with His supernatural peace, and lead you into the habits and purposes He’s prepared for you—*one step at a time*.
