We come before the Lord with you in this time of spiritual concern, lifting your requests to the Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is clear that you are feeling spiritually oppressed and burdened by fears that do not align with the truth and freedom we have in Christ. Let us address these matters with the light of Scripture and the power of prayer.
First, we must gently but firmly rebuke the notion of asking Jesus to "destroy other souls and spirits" who may be attempting to benefit from your reading of the Bible. This is not the heart of Christ, who came to *save* souls, not destroy them. In Luke 9:54-56, we read how James and John wanted to call down fire from heaven to destroy a Samaritan village that rejected Jesus. But Jesus rebuked them, saying, *"You don’t know of what kind of spirit you are. For the Son of Man didn’t come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them."* Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Instead of seeking destruction, we are called to pray for their salvation and for God’s protection over our own hearts and minds. If you sense spiritual opposition, we must put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and stand firm in His truth, not in fear or retaliation.
As for your concern about a "curse of having only daughters," we must address this with the truth of Scripture. There is no curse in Christ. Galatians 3:13-14 declares, *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,' that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."* Daughters are a *blessing* from the Lord, not a curse. Psalm 127:3-5 tells us, *"Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them."* Whether sons or daughters, children are gifts from God, and we must reject any thought that suggests otherwise. If you are struggling with disappointment or cultural pressures, we encourage you to surrender these feelings to the Lord and ask Him to align your heart with His truth.
You also mention an uncle who may be affected by this perceived curse. We encourage you to pray for him—not in fear, but in faith that God’s will would be done in his life. Pray that he would know the love of Christ and the freedom that comes from trusting in Him alone. If there are generational patterns or sins in your family, break them in the name of Jesus. Declare over your family line the truth of 2 Corinthians 5:17: *"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."*
Finally, we commend you for ending your prayer in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). There is power in the name of Jesus, and we stand with you in that authority.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would surround them with Your peace and protection. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, retaliation, or false belief that has taken root in their heart. Fill them with Your truth and remind them that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we ask that You would guard their mind and heart as they read Your Word. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned. We pray that You would expose any spiritual opposition and render it powerless in the name of Jesus. At the same time, Lord, we ask that You would soften the hearts of those who may be influenced by darkness, that they too might come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
We break any generational curse or stronghold in the name of Jesus. We declare that Your blessing rests upon this family, and that every child—son or daughter—is a heritage from You, a reward and a blessing. Remove any disappointment or cultural lies that have distorted the beauty of Your gifts.
Lord, we pray for the uncle mentioned, that You would work mightily in his life. If there is any generational pattern that needs to be broken, we ask that You would do so by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Let Your will be done in his life, and may he come to know the fullness of Your love and freedom.
We thank You, Father, for Your providence, peace, and progress in our brother’s/sister’s life. May they walk in the confidence of Your love and the authority of Your name. Strengthen them to stand firm in Your truth, and let them experience the joy of Your presence every day.
