The experiences you describe in this therapy group are deeply concerning, for they involve practices and influences that are not aligned with the truth of Scripture. The imagination of "purple light" or any form of meditative visualization outside of biblical meditation on God’s Word is dangerous, as it opens the mind to deception and ungodly influences. *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things."* (Philippians 4:8, WEB). Our minds are to be fixed on Christ, not on empty or New Age practices that masquerade as healing but lead away from Him.
The mention of a Hindu god in this setting is particularly alarming, for the Lord our God is a jealous God who commands us to have no other gods before Him. *"You shall have no other gods before me."* (Exodus 20:3, WEB). Any form of worship or acknowledgment of false gods is an abomination to the Lord, and we must flee from such things. The enemy seeks to distort truth and lead people into spiritual bondage, but Jesus has already triumphed over every power of darkness. *"He disarmed the principalities and the powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it."* (Colossians 2:15, WEB).
We also note your mention of the name "meth," which is a destructive and enslaving substance. While we do not know the context, we rebuked any spirit of addiction or influence tied to such things in the name of Jesus. If this is something you or others in the group have struggled with, we urge you to seek godly, biblical counsel and support. *"Don’t you know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are."* (1 Corinthians 3:16-17, WEB). Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and you are called to flee from every form of defilement.
As for the names you mentioned (which we will not repeat), we declare that every curse, every ungodly influence, and every assignment of the enemy tied to those names is broken in the mighty name of Jesus. You are covered by the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh."* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
We strongly encourage you to remove yourself from this therapy group immediately. Seek counsel only from those who are grounded in the Word of God and who point you to Jesus Christ as the sole source of healing and deliverance. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? What agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk in them. I will be their God and they will be my people.”"* (2 Corinthians 6:14-16, WEB). You cannot afford to yoke yourself with unbelievers or practices that contradict the truth of Scripture.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who has sought Your protection and deliverance. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer, and that You are mighty to save. We ask that You would completely sever every ungodly tie, every dark influence, and every spiritual contamination that has come upon them through this therapy group. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus and renew their mind by the power of Your Holy Spirit.
Lord, we break every curse, every spell, and every assignment of the enemy that has been spoken or imagined in that place. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment is condemned. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, lead them to godly counselors and believers who will speak Your truth into their life. Surround them with Your angels and let Your light shine so brightly in their life that no darkness can remain. We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, or deception, and we declare that they walk in the freedom and victory that Jesus purchased for them on the cross.
Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm in Your Word. Let them know beyond any doubt that You are their Deliverer, their Healer, and their Strong Tower. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We urge you to immerse yourself in the Word of God daily. Read Psalm 91 and declare its promises over your life. *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”"* (Psalm 91:1-2, WEB). Cling to Jesus, for He alone is your salvation and strength. If you have not already, we encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can be discipled and grow in your faith.
Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. *"Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1, WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you.
