Jesus Christ, I believe there was a revenge from childhood that had involved a ###$ bill. ###$ had dropped from someone's bag, I picked it up and didn't return it to them. In the future, the money from the bank was in ###$ bills. Thanks Jesus for saving me from the past. I still wonder if these confessions are abominations because of blood of Jesus covering me from sin. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We rejoice with you in the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is by His blood alone that we are cleansed from all unrighteousness and set free from the bondage of sin. You have done well to bring this matter before Him in confession, for Scripture assures us in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Your past mistake—though it involved dishonesty—has been covered by the precious blood of Jesus, and He has separated your sin from you as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12). There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), so let your heart rest in the peace He has provided.

However, we must address something important: while your confession is right and good, we notice that you refer to this act as possibly being an "abomination." Let us clarify this for your assurance. An abomination in Scripture often refers to detestable sins such as idolatry, sexual immorality, or practices that defile a person before God (Deuteronomy 18:12, Proverbs 6:16-19). What you described was theft, which is indeed sin (Exodus 20:15, Ephesians 4:28), but it is not classified as an abomination in the biblical sense. The enemy may try to burden you with unnecessary guilt or confusion, but Jesus has already paid the price for *all* your sins—past, present, and future. You are forgiven, and He calls you to walk in freedom, not in fear or lingering shame.

That said, if the Holy Spirit is prompting you to make restitution where possible—even symbolically—it may bring further closure and demonstrate the fruit of repentance (Luke 19:8-9). For example, you could give an equivalent amount to a ministry, a person in need, or even return it anonymously if the original owner can be identified. This isn’t to earn forgiveness (which you already have in Christ) but to align your actions with a heart transformed by His grace.

We also want to encourage you to focus on the *progress* you mentioned. The fact that you are sensitive to the conviction of the Holy Spirit and desire to honor God in this area is evidence of His work in you. Philippians 1:6 reminds us, *"Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."* Keep your eyes fixed on Him, for He is the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the blood of Jesus that cleanses our brother/sister from all sin. Lord, we ask that You would remove any lingering doubt or accusation the enemy may try to place on their heart regarding this confessed sin. Fill them with the assurance of Your forgiveness and the peace that surpasses all understanding. If there is any step of obedience You would have them take—whether in restitution, generosity, or further surrender—make it clear to them, and grant them the courage to walk it out. Guard their heart from condemnation, for there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Strengthen them to live in the freedom and victory You have purchased for them. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Redeemer and Advocate. Amen.

Walk forward in the liberty Christ has given you, dear one. His grace is sufficient, and His mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). If this matter resurfaces in your mind, rebuked the enemy’s lies with the truth of Scripture and declare, *"I am forgiven in Jesus’ name!"* We are cheering you on as you continue to grow in His grace.

We're really glad to hear that you've found peace and forgiveness in Jesus. It's true, His blood cleanses us from all unrighteousness, and that includes the wrongdoing from your past. We're not surprised you're wondering about the term "abomination," but let's remember, even our worst mistakes are covered by Jesus' sacrifice. He's not only forgiven you, but He's also forgotten your sins (Hebrews 10:17).

We love how you're seeking to grow and progress in your faith. Keep focusing on Jesus, and trust that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6). If there's a nudge to make things right where possible, listen to that. It's not about earning forgiveness, but about walking in the freedom Jesus has given us.

Let's pray together: "Lord, thank You for Your unfailing love and forgiveness. Help us to walk in the assurance of our salvation, free from guilt and condemnation. If there's a step of obedience You want us to take, make it clear, and give us the courage to follow through. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep your eyes on Jesus, and let's continue to grow together in His grace.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting your heart before the Lord in prayer. Your honesty and repentance before Him are a testament to the work of the Holy Spirit in your life, and we rejoice that you have laid this burden at the foot of the cross. There is no sin too great for the blood of Jesus—His sacrifice is more than enough to cleanse, redeem, and restore. As 1 John 1:9 reminds us, *If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.* What you’ve shared is not an abomination in the eyes of God when it is brought to Him in true repentance; it is an act of surrender, and He meets that surrender with grace.

We have been praying that the Lord would continue to replace any lingering shame or uncertainty with the *peace that surpasses all understanding* (Philippians 4:7). Your past no longer defines you—Christ does. If you’ve experienced freedom and assurance since sharing this request, we’d love for you to post a praise report so we can glorify God together for His faithfulness. If you’re still wrestling with doubts or feelings of condemnation, please know you are not alone. We are here to stand with you again in prayer, to remind you of the truth of Scripture, and to encourage you as you walk in the victory Christ has already won.

May the Lord deepen your trust in His provision and progress in your life, not as a reward for your works, but as a gift of His unchanging love. We are praying that you would sense His presence powerfully in this season, that every step forward would be marked by His guidance, and that you would rest in the knowledge that *there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus* (Romans 8:1). Keep seeking Him, dear sibling in Christ—He is near. In Jesus’ name.
