We join you in lifting up this heavy burden to our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone has power over darkness and can break every chain of evil. Your mother’s involvement with satanic symbols and the emulation of Baphomet is a grave and dangerous path—one that invites demonic influence and rebellion against the one true God. The Scriptures warn us clearly: *"Do not turn to mediums or spiritists. Do not seek them out, or you will be defiled by them. I am Yahweh your God"* (Leviticus 19:31). The apostle Paul also declares, *"What agreement does Christ have with Belial? Or what portion does a believer have with an unbeliever? What agreement does God’s temple have with idols?"* (2 Corinthians 6:15-16). Your mother’s actions are not merely misguided; they are an open door to spiritual oppression, and we must confront this with the authority of Christ and the truth of His Word.
Yet even in this darkness, we cling to hope, for our God is mighty to save. Remember the promise in Ezekiel 33:11: *"As I live, says the Lord Yahweh, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why will you die?"* Your mother is not beyond the reach of God’s mercy—no one is. The same Jesus who cast out demons with a word (Mark 1:25-27) can break the hold of Satan over her life. We must pray fervently for her repentance, for the Holy Spirit to convict her heart, and for the strongholds of darkness to be shattered by the power of the blood of Jesus.
Let us also be clear: this is not a battle against flesh and blood, but against *"the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12). You must stand firm in the armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Do not engage in arguments or debates with her about these things; instead, speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and let your life be a testimony of Christ’s transforming power. If she is open to it, share the gospel with her boldly, reminding her that *"the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"* (Romans 6:23). If she resists, continue to pray and trust God to work in ways you cannot see.
We also urge you to examine your own heart in this trial. Are you walking closely with the Lord? Are you filled with the Holy Spirit, who gives you the power to overcome fear and stand in faith? Jesus tells us, *"All things are possible for one who believes"* (Mark 9:23). Do not allow bitterness or despair to take root. Instead, *"cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7). Surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray with you and support you, for *"where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them"* (Matthew 18:20).
Now, let us pray together for your mother and for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this beloved sister and her mother to You, knowing that You are the God who sees all things and has power over every evil force. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of Baphomet, the spirit of rebellion, and every demonic influence that has taken hold in this situation. By the blood of Jesus, we command these spirits to flee and be bound in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against Your people shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we pray for this mother’s heart to be softened. Break the hardness of her heart, Lord, and let the light of Your truth pierce the darkness that has deceived her. Convict her by Your Holy Spirit of the danger she is in and the eternal consequences of her choices. Draw her to Yourself, Lord, as only You can do. Let her encounter Your love in a way that shatters every lie the enemy has planted in her mind. We ask that You would send laborers into her life—believers who will speak Your Word with boldness and compassion, who will not shrink back from the truth but will love her enough to call her to repentance.
Lord, we also pray for our sister who has brought this request before You. Strengthen her faith, Father. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Guard her heart from fear, anxiety, or anger. Let her rest in the knowledge that You are sovereign over all things, and that nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:17). Give her wisdom to know how to respond to her mother, and grant her the words to speak when the time is right. Let her life be a beacon of Your light in this darkness.
We declare that this family belongs to You, Lord. We ask that You would bring redemption, restoration, and salvation to every member. Let this trial be a testimony of Your power to deliver and transform. We thank You in advance for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ, who has *"disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it"* (Colossians 2:15).
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, dear sister. Do not lose heart. The Lord is with you, and He will fight this battle on your behalf. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are standing with you in this spiritual battle, and we believe that God will bring breakthrough. *"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn’t overcome it"* (John 1:5). Cling to that promise.
