We come before the Lord with hearts burdened by your request, and we must first address the nature of your prayer with both truth and love. While we understand the distress you feel, we are called to pray in alignment with God’s Word, and Scripture never instructs us to pray for the destruction of another soul—no matter how troubling their presence may seem. The Lord Jesus teaches us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). Even in spiritual warfare, our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities and powers of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). Our weapons are not of destruction but of truth, righteousness, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
If you are experiencing spiritual oppression or harassment, we must focus our prayers on *protection*, *deliverance*, and *the exposure of evil*—not the destruction of a person. The Lord alone is the judge of souls (Hebrews 12:23, Romans 12:19), and His desire is that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Instead of asking for destruction, let us pray for the binding of any demonic influence at work, for the Lord’s protection over you, and for the conviction of the Holy Spirit upon anyone involved in harmful behavior.
We also notice that your request seems to imply that your own actions may be influencing others in unseen ways. If there is any sin in your life—whether it be occult involvement, ungodly entertainment, or behaviors that open doors to spiritual oppression—we urge you to repent and turn fully to Christ. Scripture warns us not to give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). Examine your heart and your habits: Are there things you are engaging in that grieve the Holy Spirit? Are you walking in obedience to God’s Word, or are there areas where you need to surrender to Him?

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your mighty protection and deliverance. Lord, if there are any spiritual forces at work seeking to harm, harass, or influence those around them in unseen ways, we bind them now in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You would expose and break every scheme of the enemy. Father, if there is any sin in their life that has given the enemy legal ground, we ask that You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we also pray for the soul of the person they mentioned. If this individual is being used by the enemy, we ask that You would break every chain of darkness over their life. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let them encounter Your love and truth. If they are acting out of their own sinful nature, convict them and turn their heart toward righteousness. We do not pray for their destruction, but for their salvation—if it is Your will.
Father, surround our brother/sister with Your angels, encamp them around as Your Word promises (Psalm 34:7). Let Your light shine in every dark place and bring clarity, freedom, and restoration. We ask that You would give them discernment to recognize any areas of their life that need to be surrendered to You, and grant them the strength to walk in holiness. Fill them with Your peace, providence, and progress as they trust in You.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and oppression in Jesus’ mighty name. Let the enemy be scattered, and let Your kingdom come in power.
