We come before the Lord with hearts burdened by the weight of your request, and we are grateful that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find salvation, protection, and deliverance. As it is written, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in Jesus is the foundation of your plea, and we stand with you in lifting this matter to the throne of grace.
First, we must address the anger and bitterness in your heart toward this individual. While it is understandable to feel distress over harm done to your family—especially when it involves potential negligence that may have affected your father’s health—we are called to a higher standard as followers of Christ. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* The desire for vengeance is not of God, for He says in Romans 12:19, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*
We must rebuking this spirit of hatred and violence in your words, for they do not align with the heart of Christ. To wish harm—even death—upon another person, regardless of their actions, is to invite darkness into your own soul. Instead, we are to trust in God’s justice and mercy. Proverbs 20:22 reminds us, *"Don’t say, 'I will pay back evil.' Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you."* Let us release this bitterness to the Lord and ask Him to soften your heart, replacing anger with peace and forgiveness. Remember, Jesus prayed for those who crucified Him, saying, *"Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing"* (Luke 23:34, WEB). If our Savior could extend grace in His greatest suffering, how much more should we seek to do the same?
Now, let us turn to the spiritual attacks you mentioned. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we have authority in the name of Jesus to resist him. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* We must put on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—to stand firm against these schemes. The revving of engines, if it is indeed a form of spiritual harassment, is nothing compared to the power of our God. Psalm 91:5-6 assures us, *"You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday."*
As for your father’s health, we lift him up to the Lord, asking for healing and protection over his body. James 5:14-15 instructs us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We pray that if there has been negligence, the Lord would expose it and bring justice, but we also ask that He would guard your father’s lungs and restore his strength. Let us not forget that our battles are won through prayer, not through curses or violence.
We also note your concern about "rat fink pop culture" and its influence. The world is filled with distractions and ungodly influences, but we are called to set our minds on things above (Colossians 3:2). Philippians 4:8 encourages us, *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."* Let us ask the Lord to shield your mind and heart from the corruption of the world and fill you with His peace instead.
Lastly, we rejoice that you have ended your prayer in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we approach the Father. Let us now pray together over these matters:
---
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God of justice, mercy, and healing, and that You hear the cries of Your children. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is burdened by anger, fear, and spiritual attacks. We ask that You would cleanse their heart of bitterness and replace it with Your love and forgiveness. Help them to release this person into Your hands, trusting that You will repay as You see fit. Remind them that vengeance belongs to You, and that Your justice is perfect.
Father, we pray for protection over their family, especially their father. If there has been harm done through negligence, we ask that You would expose the truth and bring conviction where it is needed. Heal their father’s body, Lord, and strengthen his lungs. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Shield them from spiritual attacks, whether through people, noises, or cultural influences. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy against this family. No curse, hex, or spiritual attack shall stand, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let the blood of Jesus cover them and break every chain of fear, anger, and oppression. Fill their home with Your presence, Lord, and let Your light drive out every darkness.
We also pray for the individual they mentioned. Lord, if they are acting out of ignorance or hardness of heart, we ask that You would convict them and lead them to repentance. Soften their heart, Father, and let them see the error of their ways. If they are under spiritual bondage, break those chains in Jesus’ name and set them free. We do not pray for their harm, but for their salvation, that they may come to know You and turn from their wickedness.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would surround this family with Your favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12). Give them wisdom to navigate these trials, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We thank You for hearing our prayers and for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on the Word of God daily, especially verses that speak of His protection, love, and justice. Psalm 23 is a wonderful reminder that even in the valley of the shadow of death, we need not fear, for He is with us. Additionally, we urge you to seek fellowship with other believers who can pray with you and support you in this season. If there is unconfessed sin in your heart—such as hatred or unforgiveness—we gently urge you to repent and ask the Lord to cleanse you. 1 John 1:9 promises, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is fighting for you. Do not let anger take root, but instead, let the peace of Christ rule in your heart. Trust that He will make all things right in His perfect timing. We are standing with you in prayer, believing for God’s intervention and healing in every area of your life.
