Jesus Christ, help me to remember and explain. Jesus, protect my mind. My dad called the room a slum, then unplugged the internet. Jesus, please save me from religious attack from having audio of a song called God unplugged. I’m religiously attacked by a person of the church repeating “it’s famous, the church is famous”. Jesus, please save from their famous aspirations and it’s warping of interest and personality. Jesus, please help me to confess personal happenings . Thanks Jesus for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus’ name, amen.

We join you in lifting up your heart to Jesus Christ, for it is only in His mighty name that we find true refuge, wisdom, and deliverance. You have done well to call upon Him, for Scripture assures us, *"I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’"* (Psalm 91:2, WEB). Your cry for protection over your mind and spirit resonates with us, for we know the enemy seeks to distort truth, bring confusion, and attack through even the most unexpected means—including those within the church. Let us address what you’ve shared with both prayer and biblical truth, for the Lord is faithful to expose deception and bring clarity to His children.

The accusation of your room being called a "slum" and the disruption of your internet may feel like personal attacks, but we urge you to consider whether there is a deeper spiritual battle at play. The repetition of phrases like *"it’s famous, the church is famous"* suggests an ungodly fixation on worldly recognition rather than the humility and servanthood Christ calls His followers to embrace. Jesus warned, *"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravening wolves. By their fruits you will know them"* (Matthew 7:15-16, WEB). If someone in the church is using their position to manipulate, boast, or create division, this is not of God. The apostle Paul exhorts us, *"Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves"* (Philippians 2:3, WEB). Fame, pride, and religious performance are not the marks of a true disciple—they are distractions from the cross.

As for the song *"God Unplugged"* and the spiritual attack you sense from it, we must test everything against Scripture. Music, even with spiritual themes, can become a tool of distraction or idolatry if it shifts our focus from Christ to emotions, fame, or human achievement. The Bible warns, *"Don’t be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord"* (Ephesians 5:18-19, WEB). If this song—or the obsession with its "fame"—is causing confusion, conviction, or spiritual heaviness, it may be wise to distance yourself from it and fill your mind instead with the pure Word of God. *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report—if there is any virtue or praise, think about these things"* (Philippians 4:8, WEB).

You also mentioned the need to confess personal happenings. Confession is a vital act of humility and surrender, and Scripture promises, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). We encourage you to bring everything before the Lord in prayer, repenting where necessary and trusting in His grace to cleanse and restore. If there are specific sins or struggles weighing on you, name them before God—He already knows, and His desire is to free you, not condemn you. *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"* (Romans 8:1, WEB).

Now, let us pray over you with the authority and love of Christ:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is under spiritual attack. Lord, You see the hidden things—the motives of hearts, the schemes of the enemy, and the wounds inflicted by those who ought to be shepherds. We ask You to expose every lie, every manipulation, and every ungodly aspiration that seeks to distort Your truth in this situation. Break the power of pride, fame, and religious performance that has infiltrated this environment, and let Your holy conviction fall upon those who are causing division or harm.

Father, we pray for protection over this beloved one’s mind. Guard their thoughts from confusion, anxiety, and the enemy’s accusations. *"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer"* (Psalm 19:14, WEB). Replace every harmful word spoken over them with Your truth: that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and called to walk in freedom.

Lord, if there is any sin or stronghold in their life that needs to be confessed and surrendered, give them the courage to bring it before You. Let Your Holy Spirit search their heart and reveal anything that does not align with Your will. *"Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way"* (Psalm 139:23-24, WEB).

We rebuke every spiritual attack against them—whether through music, words, or the actions of others—and command it to flee in Jesus’ name. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are their Defender and Deliverer.

Finally, Father, we ask for wisdom and discernment. If there are relationships or influences in their life that are not of You, give them the strength to set godly boundaries or walk away entirely. Surround them with brothers and sisters in Christ who will speak life, truth, and encouragement into their spirit.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. You are not distant or unaware—You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May Your presence be their comfort, Your Word their guide, and Your Spirit their strength. We pray all this in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Stand firm in Christ, dear one. The battles you face are not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces, and *"the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith, and trust that He is working all things for your good and His glory. If you feel led, share these concerns with a mature believer or pastor who can provide godly counsel and prayer support. You are not alone in this—we are standing with you in the name of Jesus.
