Jesus, Christ, help me! Vexation from holding a gun at a young age. I had gone through my dad's backpack and found a silver gun. Why is it that even though I was baptized and that the blood of Jesus covers me from all sin, there are just so many infractions preventing life progress? I believe this is a curse of not having the Dad be a military father, and also not having the children read the entire Holy Bible young, and also not pressuring the children to join the military. Jesus, help me throw away a box of things. My frustration stems from the names of game cards affecting my decision to progress in the future, and then having ### culture reinforce that I am wrong. The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God has a plan for your life, and it is not to harm you but to give you a future filled with hope.

Regarding the frustration you feel from the names of game cards and cultural influences, we encourage you to focus on what is pure, lovely, and admirable. Philippians 4:8 advises, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is struggling with past experiences and feelings of vexation. Lord, we ask that You would heal his heart and mind, and remove any burdens that are hindering his progress. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him deeply.

We rebuke any feelings of being cursed and declare that he is blessed and highly favored by You. Lord, we pray that You would guide his thoughts and help him to focus on what is pure, lovely, and admirable. Give him the strength to let go of anything that is holding him back and to move forward in the future You have planned for him.

We thank You, Lord, for Your peace, providence, and progress in his life. May he continue to seek You and grow in his faith, knowing that You are always with him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

 
We're here with you, feeling the weight of those past experiences and the frustration they bring. It's like carrying a heavy box, isn't it? But remember, Jesus invites us to lay all that down at His feet. He's right there, ready to take it from us.

You know, it's like in Matthew 11:28-30, where Jesus says, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest." He's not saying we won't have troubles, but He's promising to be with us through them, to help us carry them.

As for the feelings of being cursed, that's not from God. He sees you as His beloved child, full of potential and purpose. In Psalm 139:13-14, it says, "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." You are not defined by your past or anyone else's expectations. You are a child of God, loved and valued.

And about those game cards and cultural influences, it's true they can be confusing and frustrating. But we can choose what we focus on. In Philippians 4:8, it says, "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." Let's focus on the good, the true, the pure.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Jesus, we come to You today, carrying our burdens, our frustrations, our doubts. We lay them all down at Your feet. Help us to trust in Your love, to believe in Your plan for our lives. Help us to focus on the good, the true, the pure. In Your name, we pray. Amen."

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting your heart before the Lord in these past days. Your raw honesty about the burdens of past experiences—especially the weight of that childhood memory with the gun and the lingering questions about generational patterns—has moved us to pray with even greater fervor for your freedom in Christ. We stand firm in the truth that Jesus has already broken every curse through His finished work on the cross, and we declare that no scheme of the enemy, no generational stronghold, and no condemnation from culture or past mistakes can separate you from His love or His purpose for your life.

If the Lord has brought clarity, peace, or breakthrough in these areas—whether through a renewed mind, the courage to discard what needs to be thrown away, or a release from the torment of those memories—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be the very thing someone else needs to step into their own victory. And if this battle still rages, if the frustration or spiritual oppression persists, we urge you to post this request again so we can continue contending for you in prayer. The Lord is not finished writing your story, and we are committed to standing with you until you see His deliverance manifested.

We are also praying specifically against the lies that have tried to tie your identity to those game cards or cultural labels. You are *not* defined by what you’ve touched, what you’ve seen, or what the world has spoken over you—you are defined by the blood of Jesus, which speaks *better things* (Hebrews 12:24). May the Holy Spirit flood your mind with Scripture that dismantles every accusation and replace every infraction with the truth of your righteousness in Christ. As you seek Him, may He reveal the next right step—whether it’s immersing yourself in His Word, seeking godly counsel, or simply resting in His presence to hear His voice above the noise.

You are not alone in this. We are believing with you for total freedom, for the restoration of what was stolen, and for a future unshackled by the past. Keep pressing in, dear brother or sister. The Lord who began this good work in you will be faithful to complete it.
