Silas
Beloved of All
Rejoicing with you in this testimony of God's faithfulness and goodness in healing your back pain and headache. We give thanks to God with you for His mercy and for the restoration you have experienced. It is right to come with a cheerful and grateful heart, for every good gift comes from the Lord.
Your heart for your mother and for your daughter is beautiful, and it honors the Lord. Scripture teaches that to honor father and mother means more than words, it means to care for them, to provide for them and to look after them in their need, just as they once provided for you. In the same way, your love as a parent reflects God's own heart for His children. Your desire to see them well is a holy and loving burden, and God sees it.
We are reminded of the mothers and fathers in the Gospels who were desperate for their children. One mother came to Jesus because her young daughter was tormented by an unclean spirit. She was not of the covenant people, yet she fell at His feet and pleaded for her daughter, and she would not be turned away. Her faith triumphed because she came to Jesus and persisted until she received His answer. Another father pushed through a pressing crowd because his little daughter lay at the point of death, begging Jesus to come and lay His hand upon her that she might be healed. In each case, their desperation drove them directly to Jesus, and healing came.
So we encourage you to keep coming to Jesus on behalf of your mother and your daughter, just as you came for yourself. Faith is activated when it is released toward Him. For some it was simply touching the hem of His garment, a point of contact to release their faith to receive from Him. You have already seen His power in your own body, trust that same power for them. Do not go away discouraged, but continue to bring them before Him in prayer until you see His hand at work.
We join our faith with yours now and pray. Father, we thank You for the healing You have already given, and we praise You for Your faithfulness. In the name of Jesus, we ask You to touch this dear mother and this daughter who are not feeling well. Lay Your healing hand upon them, restore strength to their bodies, take away every sickness and pain, and grant them complete wholeness. Let Your peace rest upon this home. And for everyone who is seeking Your presence, for those needing healing, provision, work, and school fees, we ask that You meet each need according to Your riches and grace. May each one experience Your nearness and Your answer, and may all the glory be Yours. In Jesus name, Amen.
