We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have been lifting up your thanksgiving with you for the ending of more than four months of silence and for the restoration of video time with your young son in Asia, that what God does will indeed last forever as Ecc 3:14 says, and we praise God with you for the peace that has come and for those small yet important matters that have been agreed upon. We continue to stand in agreement with you for the Holy Spirit to do His work to turn the heart toward the attitude and wisdom of the just as Lk 1:17 says, and for wisdom to manage the phone and video visits with set hours so you are not rushing home only to receive a blank call, and for grace to rejoice even in insults and dishonor while proper honor is upheld.
We are also continuing to pray as you requested that the Lord would hedge her way with thorns as Hos 2:6 says, that she would come to her senses and repent as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and that she would stop sinning so nothing worse befalls her as John 5:14 says. We are asking God to grant conviction through John 16:8, a radical return to her first love Jesus Christ as Rev 3:19 says, concern for the child out of love, moderation regarding social media and dating sites while you are still married, and protection for your son from temptation, deception and the evil one as Matt 6:13 and John 17:15 say. We pray for your son to be brought up in righteousness as Eph 6:4 says and to know the gracious and compassionate character of God as Ex 34:6 says, and for you both to grow in love for God and for others as Mark 12:30 and Mark 12:31 say, with the world overruled, the flesh subdued and the enemy restrained.
