Father, it's no small thing to thanks to give for answered prayers ending 4+ months of silence and replacing it with some peace and restoration of video time w/ my youngster in Asia. Thank You for agreement in some small yet important matters -- asking for more details to be agreed upon, as You have called us to peace, 1 Cor 7:15. Grant a radical return to 1st Love, Jesus Christ, Rev 3:19-20, let us freely receive love and freely dump love on my the lad. May Your will, words & love be first and evident in conversations with the youngster, help form a gracious and compassionate view of God, Ex 34:6, may the result be an ability to learn to love God, Mark 12:30, and others, Mark 12:31, yet be brought up in righteousness, Eph 6:4, and gain the salvation given by The Holy Spirit's wisdom found speaking through The Scriptures, 2 Tim 3:15-16.

Help us learn each others' languages, help us both hold our tongues, help us hold nothing against each other, entrusting each other into Your hands -- We ask the world to be overruled, the flesh to be subdued and the devil to be restrained. Grant the ability to turn the disobedient to the attitude or wisdom of the righteous or just, Luke 1:17, which has to do with The Administration of turning hearts back to affection and submissiveness. For the prerequisite of eternal life, overall safety and the prevention of stumbling blocks, we ask grace and wisdom be given to moderate Social Media and dating sites since we're still married. "Adultery" excludes from Kingdom of Heaven, 1 Cor 6:9-11, "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, the one who sows to the flesh shall reap destruction," Gal 6:7, "The deeds of the flesh are evident," Gal 5:19-20, Rev 22:15 -- "Outside are the dogs, the sexually immoral, and those who love to live in (or practice) a lie." Keep the youth from evil, Matt 6:13 & both from evil people, 2 Tim 3:13, and the evil one, Jn 17:15.

We know You can use her pastors, friends and other believers and even family members, dreams, acts of nature, kindness and "leaving the 99 to seek the one lost sheep," Luke 15:4-6, and to lead her to from death back to eternal life, James 5:19-20. We loose Phil 1:9-10 discernment to let them see through deceptions, confront sin & hedge her way with thorns so she can’t pursue others, Hos 2:6. Grant her repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, for that's the Gospel, Luke 24:46-47, all of Acts -- Acts 2:38, Acts 3:19, Acts 17:30, Acts 26:18-20, 2 Cor 7:9-11.

So, Father, we thank You in one hand for some time together with my son and for the peace to be extended through wisdom, Ecclesiastes 7:18, yet with the other hand,ask she be convicted, Jn 16:8, hedged in with thorns so she can't pursue her lovers, Hos 2:6-7, come to her senses and repent as the prodigal, recognizing sin against both God and others, Lk 15:17-21. We ask You help her facilitate calls so they go more smoothly, Prov 31:12. Keep the boy from temptation, sin's influences through wicked spirits, Eph 6:12-19, and keep them from deception, Matt 24:4-8, sin, 1 Cor 8:1, wrongdoing, 2 Cor 13:7, wrongdoing, fear and lies, Zeph 3:13, imposters and evil people, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, 2 Cor 11:26, 2 Thes 3:2, temptation, evil and the evil one, Lk 11:4, Matt 6:13, Jn 17:15, 2 Thes 3:3, Rev 12:9, 1 John 5:18. We join you in giving thanks for this answered prayer and we rejoice with you that after more than four months of silence the Lord has restored video time with your young son in Asia. We give thanks with you for Everything God does lasts forever Ecclesiastes 3:14 and for the peace that has begun to return. We agree with you for more, for order and for wisdom in how these visits are handled going forward.

We lift up before the Father your request for set and reliable hours for phone and video visits so you are not left waiting for hours by the phone unable to accomplish the tasks God has given you to do. We ask the Lord to move on her heart to be faithful and considerate in this, to be concerned out of genuine love for the child and not out of love for money nor out of a desire to spite you. We pray she would do good and not harm all the days of her life Proverbs 31:12 and that God who has called us to peace 1 Corinthians 7:15 would establish peace and clear communication between you both.

We also join you in praying for your son, that your conversations would be filled with the will and words and love of God first, that through you he would form a gracious and compassionate view of God who is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth Exodus 34:6. We pray he would learn to love the Lord with all his heart and soul and mind Mark 12:30 and to love others as himself Mark 12:31, that he would be brought up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord Ephesians 6:4 and that through the Holy Scriptures he would gain the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus 2 Timothy 3:15. We pray with you that you both would learn each other's languages, that you would both hold your tongues and hold nothing against each other but entrust each other into God's hands, that the world would be overruled and the flesh subdued and the devil restrained, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness Ephesians 6:12.

We pray for the turning of hearts that only the Holy Spirit can do, to turn the disobedient to the wisdom of the just Luke 1:17. We ask God to use whatever He chooses, pastors and friends and other believers and even family members, dreams, acts of nature, kindness, and His pursuit as the shepherd who leaves the ninety nine to seek the one lost sheep Luke 15:4, to bring conviction of sin John 16:8 and to lead her from death back to life James 5:19. We pray with you that He would hedge her way with thorns Hosea 2:6 so she cannot pursue what is outside His will, that she would come to her senses as the prodigal did and repent and acknowledge sin against heaven and before God and others Luke 15:17, and that she would stop sinning so that nothing worse happens to her John 5:14.

We must speak plainly and lovingly about what you have shared concerning social media and dating sites while you are still married. Marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman before God and we strongly affirm God's design for marriage and for reconciliation where He permits. To seek other partners while still married is adultery, and the Scripture warns us plainly that adulterers will not inherit the Kingdom of God 1 Corinthians 6:9, that the deeds of the flesh are evident which are sexual immorality, impurity and such Galatians 5:19, that God is not mocked for whatever a man sows that he will also reap Galatians 6:7, and that outside are the sexually immoral and those who love and practice falsehood Revelation 22:15. This is not to condemn but to warn in love, for God desires repentance and gives grace to all who turn to Him. He is patient, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. The message of the Gospel is repentance and forgiveness of sins in Jesus name Luke 24:47, repent and be baptized Acts 2:38, repent therefore and turn again Acts 3:19, God commands all people everywhere to repent Acts 17:30, that they should repent and turn to God doing works worthy of repentance Acts 26:20, and godly sorrow works repentance 2 Corinthians 7:10. We pray she would receive this grace and turn fully back to her first love Jesus Christ Revelation 3:19.

We pray with you for discernment and love that still abounds in knowledge and understanding that you may approve the things that are excellent Philippians 1:9, to see through deceptions and to confront sin in love while keeping your own heart humble. We pray for a radical return to Jesus for you both and for your household, that you would freely receive His love and freely pour that love on your son.

Father, we thank You in the name of Jesus Christ for the restoration of this time together and for the measure of peace You have given through wisdom Ecclesiastes 7:18. We thank You that it is only through Jesus that we have access to You, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13. We come to You in that name now and ask You to continue this good work. Give set and honorable times for visits, soften her heart to act in love for the child, guard the boy from temptation and from the evil one Matthew 6:13 John 17:15 2 Thessalonians 3:3, keep him from deception Matthew 24:4 and from fear and lies Zephaniah 3:13, keep you both from evil people and impostors 2 Timothy 3:13 and from the schemes of the devil Revelation 12:9. Keep your son in Your hand so that the evil one does not touch him 1 John 5:18 and let Your will be done in this family as You make all things beautiful in Your time. We entrust this marriage, this mother and this child to You and ask for full repentance, forgiveness, healing and restoration according to Your perfect will. Amen.

We are thanking God with you for the restored video time with your son after more than four months of silence. That is a real mercy, and we understand why you want to protect it and see it become more steady and peaceful for him and for you.

Waiting by the phone for hours without knowing if a call will come makes it hard to work, rest, or plan anything. It is exhausting and discouraging. One step that often helps in this kind of situation is to put a simple, written proposal on the table, a couple of specific windows that account for the time difference, how long the visit will last, and how you will both confirm or reschedule if needed. Keeping the note brief, kind, and centered on what helps your son feel secure and loved, and keeping a calm record of what is agreed, can lessen the waiting and give him more predictability. If you have a trusted pastor or counselor who knows you both, inviting that person to help you reach a clear understanding can also bring more peace.

We also hear your deep desire for your wife to return to her first love in Jesus and for your son to grow up knowing God's kindness and truth, and to learn to love God and others well. We are joining you in asking for wisdom as you learn each other's language and keep entrusting one another to the Lord.

Father, we thank You for reopening time between this father and his son. We ask for wisdom and steadiness in arranging these visits, for protection over this boy's heart and mind, and for Your grace to shape every conversation with patience and love. Lead this family toward repentance, healing, and Your perfect will. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join our hearts with yours in thanksgiving to God for what He has done in restoring a measure of peace and video fellowship with your son after more than four months of silence. Everything God does does indeed last forever, and we pray that this mercy may be the beginning of a more settled and lasting work. We thank the Lord with you for this answer and we ask Him to establish it, that the set hours for phone and video visits may be kept with faithfulness and kindness, so that you are not left waiting without ability to fulfill your duties, and that all communication may be ordered in love for the child and in the peace to which we are called.

We have brought before the Lord your burden concerning your wife. We do not ask God to bless any path that departs from His holy ordinance, for marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all intimacy belongs within it, and salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. To pursue lovers or to give the heart to social media and dating while yet married is to sow to the flesh, and the Scripture warns us plainly that those who practice such things without repentance shall not inherit the kingdom of God, and that God is not mocked. We therefore pray not that such ways would prosper, but that they would be hedged with thorns, as you have asked from Hosea, that she may not find her lovers, and more, that she may be brought to see her sin against God and against you and the child, and come to herself as the prodigal did, and return in true repentance.

Here we must make a distinction which the Word presses upon us. There is a carnal repentance which is produced by fear or judgment and which does not glorify God, and there is a repentance unto life which is the work of the Holy Spirit in the renewed heart. True repentance gives God glory, it weeps over sin not as a child who runs from his father, but as a child who lays his head upon his father's bosom and confesses that he has grieved so loving a Father. It is not a preparation for grace, but the first gracious result of grace already at work. It is the gift of God preached in the name of Jesus, and where it is found there is full and free remission of sins through His blood. We pray that the Lord would grant her not a fleeting sorrow that soon fades, but that practical, lasting repentance which yields works meet for repentance and sets the soul ever afterwards craving after holiness, for the burnt child dreads the fire. May the goodness of God lead her to repentance, and may the look of Christ, as it did with Peter, break the heart and restore the wanderer.

We pray also for your dear boy in Asia. May the Lord keep him from evil and from the evil one, from deception and from every stumbling block, and bring him up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. We ask that your conversations may be filled with the words and love of Christ, that you both may hold your tongues and hold nothing against each other, but entrust one another into the hands of Him who rules over the world, subdues the flesh and restrains the devil. We ask that grace may be given to moderate all influences of social media and to turn the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, that the child may early learn to love God with all his heart and his neighbor as himself, and may gain that wisdom from the Scriptures which makes wise unto salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. For you, we pray for wisdom, patience and a continual spirit of repentance and faith, for repentance lives as long as faith lives, and sweet sister repentance is charming company even to the mature saint. Continue to tell Jesus of your household, as one who brings the sick to the Physician. He can use pastors, friends, family, even dreams and providences, and His own seeking love that leaves the ninety and nine to find the one, to bring back those who wander from the truth and to save a soul from death. May the Lord grant discerning love, that deception may be seen through, sin confronted in truth, and yet all done in the meekness of Christ.

We ask these things not because we merit them, but in the name of Jesus Christ, who ordained that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name, and who is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you may be kept from temptation and delivered from evil, and that your home may yet know the gracious and compassionate character of God made known in Christ, to His glory.
