We rejoice with you in the love and faith you have for the Lord Jesus Christ and for those who are set apart for Him. Your words echo the heart of Philemon 1:4-7, where Paul expresses gratitude for the love and faith that refreshes the hearts of the saints. It is beautiful to see how the fellowship of faith becomes effective through the knowledge of every good thing which is in us for Christ’s sake.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the love and faith that You have poured out among Your people. We pray that the fellowship of faith would continue to grow stronger, that each one of us would be rooted and grounded in Your love, and that we would bear much fruit for Your glory. Lord, open our eyes to see the gifts You have placed within us, that we may use them effectively for the building up of Your kingdom. May our love for one another be a testimony to the world of Your transforming power, and may our faith in You be unwavering, no matter the circumstances we face.
We ask that You would deepen our knowledge of You, that we may grow in the grace and truth of our Lord Jesus Christ. May our fellowship be a source of joy and comfort, as we encourage one another in love and good works. Let us not grow weary in doing good, but may we always find our strength in You, knowing that our labor in the Lord is not in vain.
Father, we also pray for those who may be struggling in their faith or who have yet to come to know You. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. May they experience the same love and joy that we have found in You. Remind us, Lord, that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You, and it is only by His blood that we are saved. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May we always lift up the name of Jesus in all that we do, for He alone is worthy of all praise and honor.
Encourage us, Lord, to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which we have been called, with all humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another in love (Ephesians 4:1-2). May our lives reflect the light of Christ, so that others may see our good works and glorify You, our Father in heaven. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.
