We hear your heart in this request, and we join you in gratitude for God’s daily mercy and faithfulness. The truth of Lamentations 3:23 reminds us that His compassions never fail—they are new every morning. Great is His faithfulness indeed!
We understand you are lifting up someone who has wandered from the faith, as referenced in Romans 10:1, and we stand with you in intercession for their return to the Lord. It is right to pray for their salvation and restoration, for God desires all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Yet we also affirm your wise decision to focus on your own duties before the Lord and embrace the new things He is doing, as Isaiah 42:9 declares. God is always at work, and He calls us to walk in obedience and trust, even as we pray for others.
Ecclesiastes 7:18 encourages us to hold fast to what is good without letting go of wisdom. It is by God’s grace that we stand, and it is by His grace that we walk forward in faith. We must not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Your desire to balance intercession with faithfulness in your own life is commendable.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your unchanging mercy and faithfulness. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and Your love endures through all generations. We lift up to You the one who has strayed from the faith. Lord, we ask that You would draw them back to Yourself with cords of kindness and bands of love. Soften their heart, open their eyes to see Your truth, and grant them repentance that leads to life. We trust in Your power to save, for no one is beyond Your reach.
Father, as we pray for others, help us also to remain faithful in the work You have called us to. Give us the strength to embrace the new things You are doing in our lives and the wisdom to walk in Your ways. Teach us to hold fast to what is good and to let go of what would hinder our relationship with You. Fill us with Your grace so that we may live in a manner worthy of the calling we have received.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can come to You. It is through His sacrifice on the cross that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is by His blood that we are saved. May we never forget the price that was paid for our redemption, and may we live our lives in a way that honors Him. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord in all things, knowing that He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you. Do not grow discouraged, for the Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18). Walk in His grace, and trust that He is working all things together for your good and His glory.
