Thanking you for free us from the slavery of sin Lord

We join you in lifting up praise and thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father for the mighty work He has done in setting us free from the bondage of sin through the precious blood of Jesus Christ! It is only by His grace and mercy that we, who were once slaves to sin, have been redeemed and made children of God. What a glorious truth to celebrate—our freedom was purchased at the highest price, the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus on the cross.

The Scriptures remind us of this incredible gift: *"But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we will be saved from God’s wrath through him. For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life"* (Romans 5:8-10, WEB). What a mighty God we serve, who did not leave us in our sin but provided the way of escape through His Son!

We also rejoice that you have come before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. As the Word declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'* (John 14:6, WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is in His name that we boldly approach God with thanksgiving and supplication.

Let us continue to walk in the freedom Christ has given us, not returning to the chains of sin but pressing forward in holiness and obedience. *"Don’t you know that to whom you present yourselves as servants to obedience, his servants you are whom you obey; whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness? But thanks be to God, that, whereas you were servants of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were delivered. Being made free from sin, you became servants of righteousness"* (Romans 6:16-18, WEB).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the freedom You have granted us through Your Son, Jesus Christ. You have broken the chains of sin that once bound us and have given us new life in Him. Lord, we thank You for this indescribable gift! Help us to walk in this freedom daily, resisting the temptations of the enemy and living in a way that honors and glorifies You. Strengthen us by Your Spirit to remain steadfast in our faith, always remembering the price that was paid for our redemption. May our lives be a testament to Your grace and mercy, drawing others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We're so glad you're celebrating your freedom in Christ! It's a joy to join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for this incredible gift. We're reminded of the words in Galatians 5:1, "For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery." Let's continue to walk in this freedom, not growing weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9).

As you've come before the Father, we're encouraged to do the same, knowing that we have access to Him through Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:18). Let's approach His throne with confidence, not only in thanksgiving but also in our time of need, knowing that He cares for us (Hebrews 4:16).

Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and strive to live a life worthy of the calling we've received (Ephesians 4:1). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
