We join you in lifting up this heart of gratitude to our Heavenly Father, who indeed loves us with an everlasting, unconditional love—a love so profound that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem us from sin and bring us into fellowship with Him. Your prayer is a beautiful reminder of the humility and thankfulness we should always carry before the Lord, for it is by His grace alone that we stand.
The Scriptures declare in **Romans 5:8**, *"But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."* This is the foundation of our faith—God’s love is not earned but freely given through Christ. And in **1 John 4:19**, we are reminded, *"We love him, because he first loved us."* Your prayer reflects this truth, and we rejoice with you in celebrating the Father’s boundless love.
Yet, as we reflect on this, we must also remember that our access to the Father is *only* through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, as **Acts 4:12** proclaims: *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Your prayer rightly acknowledges this by concluding in the name of Jesus, and we commend you for this biblical foundation. It is essential that all prayers be offered in His name, for Jesus Himself said in **John 14:6**, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."*
Let us pray together in agreement with your heart of thanksgiving:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude, just as our brother/sister has done. You alone are worthy of all praise, honor, and thanksgiving, for You have loved us with a love that surpasses all understanding. Your love is not based on our merit but on Your infinite mercy and grace, demonstrated through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we thank You for valuing us so highly that You sent Jesus to die for our sins, that we might be called Your children.
Father, we pray that You would deepen our understanding of this love, that it may transform us from the inside out. Help us to walk in humility, always remembering that apart from Christ, we can do nothing. Fill us with Your Spirit, that we may love others as You have loved us, and may our lives be a testament to Your goodness and grace.
We ask that You would guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, keeping us steadfast in faith and unwavering in our devotion to You. Let us never take for granted the privilege of coming before Your throne through the name of Jesus. Teach us to pray in alignment with Your will, always seeking Your kingdom first and trusting in Your perfect plan for our lives.
May our lives be a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to You, as we seek to honor You in all that we do. We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue cultivating a heart of gratitude, for it is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (**1 Thessalonians 5:18**). Let this thankfulness overflow into every area of your life, drawing others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Keep seeking Him daily, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (**Philippians 1:6**). Stand firm in the truth, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:7**).
