Servant
Praise be to God. All prayers in my life have always been answered by the Lord. Please pray that in this unfortunate situation I am facing in my relationship, I have the strength and wisdom to handle it. Pray for my mind and thoughts. Pray for my partner. In Jesus name, Amen.

We rejoice with you in the faithfulness of God, who has heard and answered your prayers time and time again. What a testament to His goodness and love! We are grateful that you have come before the Lord in this current trial, seeking His strength and wisdom. It is in moments like these that our faith is refined and our dependence on Him deepens.

First, we must address the nature of this relationship you’ve mentioned. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God for a lifetime (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this relationship is not between a man and a woman within the bounds of marriage, we must gently but firmly rebuke any sin that may be present. The Bible calls sexual intimacy outside of marriage fornication, which is a sin against God (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If this is the case, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, trusting in His grace to lead you into righteousness. If you are not married, we encourage you to either pursue marriage with a godly, Christian spouse or, if that is not possible, to honor God by abstaining from sexual intimacy until marriage.

If this relationship is between a man and a woman who are not yet married, we encourage you to view this as a season of courtship with the goal of marriage. Marriage is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33), and it should be entered into with reverence and intentionality. Pray together, seek godly counsel, and ensure that your relationship is rooted in Christ. If your partner is not a believer, we must remind you of 2 Corinthians 6:14, which warns against being unequally yoked with unbelievers. A marriage built on shared faith in Christ is a strong foundation for weathering life’s storms.

Let us lift you up in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness in this dear one’s life. Lord, You have been their refuge and strength, and we ask that You would continue to uphold them in this challenging season. Grant them wisdom to navigate this situation with discernment and clarity, that they may align their steps with Your will. Guard their mind and thoughts, Father, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray for their partner as well, draw them closer to You, Lord, and soften their heart to receive Your truth.

If there is any sin in this relationship, we ask for Your conviction and Your grace to lead them into repentance. Help them to walk in holiness, honoring You in all things. If marriage is Your plan for them, prepare their hearts and guide them toward a union that glorifies You. If not, give them the strength to trust You with their future and to let go of what is not of You. We declare that Your will be done in this situation, and we trust You to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to You. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we pray all these things in His mighty name. Amen.

We encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word during this time. Meditate on Psalm 119:105, which reminds us that Your word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and offer godly counsel. Remember that God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Trust in Him, lean not on your own understanding, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). You are not alone in this, we stand with you in prayer, believing that God will guide you into His perfect will.

Thank you for sharing this with us. It’s beautiful to hear how you’ve seen God answer prayers throughout your life, that history of faithfulness is something we can all draw courage from, especially when a relationship feels strained. We’re grateful to stand with you and ask for exactly what you named: strength, wisdom, and peace for your mind and thoughts.

In seasons like this, our thoughts can spiral or grow heavy, so one simple thing that helps is to pay attention to what we’re rehearsing. When anxious or negative patterns show up, we can pause and quietly hand each one to the Lord as soon as we notice it, not as a formula but as a way of staying honest with Him throughout the day. That small practice keeps us from carrying the whole weight alone and opens space for wisdom to settle in.

We’re also praying for your partner, that God would guard their heart and mind, and that truth and grace would shape whatever steps come next for both of you.

Lord, thank You for always hearing us. Please give our friend steady strength and clear wisdom right where it’s needed. Guard their mind from anything that steals peace, and help them notice Your nearness today. Watch over their partner and bring healing, understanding, and Your good direction into this situation. We ask in Jesus’ name.

Let every man know that whatever his strength may be, of body, mind, or spirit, if it is his own, it will one day fail him. Yet you have seen the Lord answer prayer in your life, and in that you do well to praise Him. Now, in this present trouble, turn again to the same fountain. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Do not rush about like the wild ass’s colt, wasting your energy in anxious scheming. Herein is your wisdom: when you feel you have something to do that is beyond you, stop and breathe a prayer for more strength. Our very weakness is our strength because it drives us to the Almighty.

The situation you face in your relationship requires more than human insight. The way of wisdom is not found by the keenest natural eye; the carnal mind cannot trace it. You ask for wisdom for your mind and thoughts, and well you may, for the price of wisdom is above rubies. It is to be found only in trusting God alone. His promise is sure: “As thy days, so shall thy strength be.” He does not give strength to play at matches with our brethren or to lay by in reserve, but strength enough for each day’s duty and trial. If your mind is buffeted, if the path is dark, that promise is your shield. The Lord Himself declares, “I will strengthen them,” and He will wisely balance the grace He infuses.

As you pray for your partner, remember that none can choose Christ unless the Father draws them. The unrenewed mind will not come to Him. Yet the Maker who is the Husband of His church assumes all the responsibilities of that condition. He is able to make all grace abound, even to those who have no might. Commitment to Him alone is the only solid ground for any union, and the joy of the Lord, that quiet, inward gladness which springs from real strength, is your fortress. Be invincibly strong in the strength which trusting in God alone can confer. Wait upon Him, and He will renew your strength. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your thanksgiving honors God, for He indeed answers the prayers of those who trust in Him. Now in this trial within your relationship, do not suppose that the wisdom you need can spring from your own thoughts or the counsels of this world. Human wisdom, when it stands apart from God, is foolishness, however much it boasts. The grace of the Spirit alone supplies true understanding, and He gives it to the lowly of heart.

Therefore, seek strength not in your own resolve, but in Him who “fashioned our hearts one by one” and knows every hidden thought. When the mind is tossed by confusion or distress, it is like an eye disordered by phantoms, it cannot see clearly. Sobriety of mind, that healthful self-control which keeps the soul safe, begins with this: not thinking more highly of yourself than you ought, but judging all things by the word of God, even when that word seems contrary to your feelings and your sight.

For the thoughts that war within you, bring them captive to obedience. Let God’s sayings be of higher authority than all your reasonings. If the way seems dark, remember that the world is not worthy of those who walk by faith, and that the reward of trusting Him is not measured in present ease, but in the glory that shall be revealed.

Pray also for your partner, that he or she may be granted the same sober wisdom. Commend this person to God not with demands, but with meekness, knowing that no human effort can change a heart unless the Lord builds the house. And as you pray, labor in the word of doctrine yourself; let the Scriptures be your constant meditation, for they alone can make you wise unto salvation and order your steps in every relationship. In all things, believe God and gainsay Him not, and He shall bring your soul into a calm haven.

You begin with praise, and that is right. A heart that remembers God’s faithfulness in the past builds a strong foundation for the present. He has answered before; He will answer again. The situation you now face in your relationship requires something deeper than a list of steps, it requires a wisdom that does not rise from your own understanding.

The world has its own wisdom about relationships. It offers advice that sounds reasonable, yet it springs from the mind of the flesh. That kind of wisdom, no matter how sophisticated it seems, always comes to nothing. It cannot lead to life. What you need is the wisdom from above, and the starting place for that wisdom is clear: the fear of the Lord. True wisdom is not merely knowing facts about your situation; it is seeing it through God’s eyes and hating the evil that would corrupt your mind and your actions.

This is why your prayer for your mind and thoughts is so vital. A person can pollute anything when their mind is impure, but you have been called to something else. You are not a slave to your old ways of thinking any longer. The mind of the flesh is death, a relentless pull back to fulfilling the desires of a corrupt nature. Yet through the mercy of God, you have been given access to the very mind of Christ. That mind is not one that exalts its own logic or clings to pride. It is a mind of humility that submits fully to the will and authority of God. When your thoughts are shaped by His Spirit, you find life, peace, and clarity instead of confusion.

Therefore, as you seek strength, do not look for it within your own capacity. A person deceived by their own strength is foolish. True strength is found in the one in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden. Choose wisdom over the fleeting validation of the world. Lay down the pride, the arrogancy, and the perverse way that wisdom declares it hates. When you exercise your will to deny yourself and follow Him, you step into the meaningful relationship He designed for you, a relationship based not on robots responding to signals, but on a genuine choice to love and obey Him. And whatever you lay down, He more than repays with His presence.

Your partner also needs this same grace. I will pray that both of you are kept from a reprobate mind, that you may not just profess to know God while your works deny Him. Instead, may the washing of regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Spirit guard your hearts. It is not a matter of gritting your teeth and trying harder. When the Spirit transforms you, the struggle ceases to be a white-knuckled battle and becomes a natural fruit of His work.

Let your faith stand not in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Sharpen the edge with His wisdom, and you will not need to strive with such exhausting force. Wisdom will give life to those who have it. May the Lord grant you an understanding heart, and may He direct your path in this trial.
