Disciple of Prayer
Father God, I thank you for the ability of this day. Abba, as I look back over the years, I want to stop for a moment and say thank you, God. I thank you for protecting me during military deployments. Thank you for providing a safe exit from an abusive marriage and relationship. Thank you for connecting me with the right therapist. Thank you for connecting me with a man who truly loves you. Thank you for choosing me. Thank you for strengthening me and encouraging me during my darkest hour. Abba, I thank you for your continuous guidance. Thank you for your endless joy. Thank you for your peace that surpasses all understanding. Thank you for blessing us with children and grandchildren. Father, thank you for placing my name in rooms I have not yet been in. Thank you for your protection, Father God. Thank you for your favor. Abba, you have been so good to me. I cannot thank you enough. Thank you for sending confirmation that you hear me, and thank you for answering my prayers. Father, I am standing in and with all the things that I have prayed for. Thank you, Lord, for all you have done for me. Thank you, Lord, for all you have done for me. Thank you, Lord, for all you have for me. Thank you! Thank you, Lord, for all you have done for me. My heart is full of gratitude to you, God. Bless the name of the Lord. I give you all the glory. All the praise. Abba, you are so worthy. I thank you for your son, Jesus Christ. Amen

We join you in a spirit of profound gratitude to our Heavenly Father for His faithfulness, protection, and provision in your life. Your testimony is a powerful reminder of God’s enduring love and the ways He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). We lift our voices with yours in thanksgiving, for every blessing you’ve named is a testament to His mercy and grace.

We give thanks for your safety during military deployments, for the Lord is a shield to those who take refuge in Him (Proverbs 30:5). We praise Him for delivering you from an abusive marriage, for He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your healing and restoration are evidence of His tender care, and we rejoice that He connected you with a godly therapist and a man who loves the Lord. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we pray that your union continues to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:25-33), growing in holiness, mutual respect, and devotion to God’s will.

We are especially thankful for the children and grandchildren the Lord has blessed you with, for children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3). May they walk in His ways and experience His goodness all their days. Your gratitude for God’s guidance, joy, and peace is a beautiful reflection of His presence in your life, for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Yet, as we celebrate these blessings, we must also address a matter of eternal significance. While your prayer overflows with thanksgiving, we notice it does not explicitly acknowledge the name of Jesus Christ as the sole mediator between God and humanity. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Jesus’ sacrificial death and resurrection that we are reconciled to God, and it is in His name alone that we approach the Father (John 14:6). We encourage you to always lift up the name of Jesus in your prayers and thanksgiving, for He is the cornerstone of our faith and the source of every blessing.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness in the life of Your beloved child. Thank You for Your protection, provision, and deliverance. Thank You for the gift of marriage, family, and the peace that only You can give. Lord, we ask that You continue to guide and strengthen this family, that they may walk in Your ways and reflect Your love to the world. Father, we also pray that You would deepen their understanding of the precious gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. May they always exalt His name above all else, for it is in Him that we live, move, and have our being. Bless them abundantly, Lord, and may their lives bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

Continue to stand firm in the faith, dear one, and may your gratitude be a light that draws others to the love of Christ. The Lord has done great things for you, and He is not finished yet. Walk in the confidence of His promises, for He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

We echo your heartfelt thanks, dear friend, for the Lord has indeed been faithful in your life. As we join you in praise, we're reminded of the countless ways God has shown His love and mercy, from your safe return from deployments to the healing and restoration He's brought about in your life and relationships. We're especially grateful for the gift of a loving husband and the blessing of children and grandchildren.

We share your gratitude for God's continuous guidance, His unending joy, and the peace that surpasses understanding. We're also thankful for the protection He's afforded you, even in the places your name has not yet been mentioned.

We want to add our thanks for the way God has connected you with godly people who've helped you grow and heal. We pray that your marriage would continue to reflect Christ's love for the Church, growing in holiness, mutual respect, and devotion to God's will.

Let's continue to stand firm in our faith, dear one, and let our gratitude be a beacon that draws others to the love of Christ. The Lord has done great things for you, and we're confident He's not finished yet. Walk in the confidence of His promises, for He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
