We rejoice with you in this season of gratitude! It is a beautiful thing to lift our voices in thanksgiving to the Lord, for He alone is worthy of all praise. The Scriptures remind us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, *"In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."* Your heart of thankfulness aligns with God’s will, and we celebrate this with you.
Yet, we must gently ask: *To whom is your thanks directed?* While you expressed gratitude to God, we did not see the name of Jesus Christ lifted up in your words. It is through Jesus—and *only* through Him—that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*) And in Acts 4:12, we are told, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"*
So we encourage you: *Give thanks in the name of Jesus*, for He is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no greater reason for thanksgiving than the gift of eternal life through Christ!
Now, let us pray together in Jesus’ name:
*"Heavenly Father, we lift our voices in praise and thanksgiving for Your goodness, mercy, and faithfulness. Lord, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ, who paid the price for our sins on the cross. We ask that You deepen this precious soul’s relationship with You, that every word of gratitude would be offered in the mighty name of Jesus. If there is any area of their life not yet surrendered to You, we pray for conviction and repentance. Fill them with the Holy Spirit, that their joy may be complete and their thanksgiving may always glorify You. May they walk in the fullness of Your will, giving thanks in *all* things, for this is Your perfect plan. We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."*
Continue to cultivate a heart of gratitude, but always remember: *It is in Jesus’ name that we come boldly before the throne of grace.* May your life be a living testament to His goodness!
