St Anthony had NOTHING to do with your prayers being answered, it was Jesus, He alone was the ONLY one who died on the cross for your sins, Anthony was nothing more than a human being and has NO power.

It is true that Jesus suffered and was crucified and died a terrible death for OUR sins, however, you're clueless when it comes to the power of the countless "intercessory" prayers to St. Anthony of Padua! I urge you to read about his life and devotion to the child Jesus and his love for Mary. He is a Saint in the Catholic faith, a doctor of the Church and during his life he devoted himself to helping the poor and marginalized while working tirelessly to convert non-believers, naysayers and spread the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
