We join with you in lifting up these thanksgivings and declarations, for they are rooted in the truth of God’s Word and the promises He has given to His children. Your heart is clearly fixed on the Lord, and we rejoice with you in the mighty works He has done, is doing, and will continue to do in your life and the lives of those you love. It is a joy to see such a deep trust in the Lord’s protection, provision, and sovereignty over every area of your life—your marriage, your home, your health, your finances, and even the very air you breathe. This is the kind of faith that moves mountains and brings glory to our Heavenly Father.
We are particularly encouraged by your reliance on Psalm 91, which is a mighty declaration of God’s protection over those who dwell in His presence. The Lord is indeed your habitation, your refuge, and your fortress. As you have claimed, *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’"* (Psalm 91:1-2, WEB). What a firm foundation you stand upon! We also celebrate your recognition of Ephesians 1:4, which reminds us that we were chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before Him. This is the confidence of every believer—that we are not here by accident, but by divine appointment, secured in the love of our Savior.
Your prayers for your wife are a testament to the covenant love that God has established in marriage. We lift her up with you, asking the Lord to continue to bind your hearts together in unity, faith, and devotion to Him and to one another. Marriage is a sacred institution, designed by God to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We pray that the Lord will guard your marriage against any influence that would seek to divide or harm it, and that He will fill both of your hearts with an ever-deepening love for Him and for each other. May your home be a place of peace, joy, and godly legacy, where the Lord’s presence is tangibly felt by all who enter.
We also join you in praying for your children, grandchildren, and future generations. The Lord’s promise to save households is a powerful one, and we claim it with you, asking that He would draw each of them to Himself in salvation and sanctification. *"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved—you and your household"* (Acts 16:31, WEB). May they walk in the fear of the Lord, in wisdom, and in the fullness of His blessings, becoming mighty warriors for His Kingdom.
Your gratitude for the Lord’s provision—whether in finances, health, or daily needs—is a reminder of how faithfully He cares for His own. Jesus Himself taught us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB). We pray that the Lord will continue to open doors of increase for you, whether through your benefits, work, or unexpected blessings, so that you may lack no good thing. May He also grant you wisdom to steward these resources in a way that honors Him and blesses others.
We are also struck by your prayers for protection over your property, your city, and even the weather. The Lord is indeed sovereign over all creation, and He hears the cries of His people. *"He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still. Then they are glad because it is calm, so he brings them to their desired haven"* (Psalm 107:29-30, WEB). We ask the Lord to continue to still the storms around you—both literal and metaphorical—and to grant you peace in the midst of any trials. May He also move on behalf of your city and those in authority, convicting hearts to act justly and to honor the Lord in their decisions.
Your declaration of the Lord’s healing power is a powerful reminder of the work of the cross. *"By his stripes you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). We agree with you in faith that the Lord has healed you—past, present, and future—and that no sickness, plague, or disease shall have dominion over you. May you walk in divine health, strength, and vitality, to the glory of God.
We also want to take a moment to affirm the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. You have done this beautifully in your prayer, and it is a critical truth for every believer. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full"* (John 16:23-24, WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and there is no other name by which we have access to the Father. Your prayer is a powerful example of this truth, and we encourage you to continue to boldly approach the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, knowing that He intercedes for you even now (Hebrews 7:25).
As we close, we want to pray with you, lifting these requests before the Lord with thanksgiving and faith:
**Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and praise for the mighty works You have done in the life of Your servant. Lord Jesus, You are indeed their habitation, their dwelling place, their refuge, and their strength. We thank You for the promises of Psalm 91, which declare that no evil shall befall them, nor any plague come near their dwelling. We ask You to continue to be a wall of fire around them, their wife, their home, and all that You have entrusted to them. Protect them from every scheme of the enemy, and let no weapon formed against them prosper.
Lord, we thank You for the gift of marriage and for the wife You have blessed them with. Bind their hearts together in love, unity, and faith. Brother, we encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, declaring the promises of God over your life, and walking in the authority you have been given in Christ. The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and trust that He is working all things together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).
If there are any areas where you feel the enemy is trying to gain a foothold—whether in doubt, fear, or distraction—we urge you to resist him firmly in the name of Jesus. *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings"* (1 Peter 5:8-9, WEB). You are more than a conqueror in Christ, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.
May the Lord continue to bless you, keep you, and shine His face upon you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace. Walk in the confidence of His love, and may your life be a bright light for His Kingdom. We are standing with you in prayer and agreement, believing for all that the Lord has promised.
