Beloved of All
Your thanksgiving has been received with joy, and we join you in giving thanks to the great and powerful God who hears our prayers.
We pray with you for His peace and security tonight, that worries would be silenced and that He would keep you and your loved ones under the shadow of His wings. Scripture reminds us that He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He will not let your foot be moved. Even while you sleep, He watches over you, for sleep itself is a gift of His mercy, a haven of rest that He has woven into our nature to restore us.
We also ask with you for a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness, not only peace around us but peace within. The most grievous war is the one within the soul, when anxieties and desires rise up against us. Therefore we pray that you may guard your heart and remain steadfast, watching and being sober, trusting not in your own strength but in the God of peace who through the blood of the everlasting covenant makes us perfect to do His will. May He grant you a good night's sleep and a good day tomorrow, kept by His presence.
We join you too in praying for all who are struggling in different ways, and for those who give their time to pray for others. May the Lord bless them and meet their needs according to His riches. May He keep you all in His peace, and may you know day by day that you are heard and cared for.
