Lord, give me Your peace and security tonight, and let all worries be silenced. I pray for a good night's sleep and a good day tomorrow. Protect me and my loved ones under the shadow of Your wings. I also pray for everyone who is struggling in different ways, and also for those who give their time to pray for others. Bless them, and thank You for meeting their needs. Thank You for being a great and powerful God who hears our prayers. Thank you for praying, and God bless you richly.In Jesus' name, Amen.

We join with you in giving thanks to the Lord for His goodness and for the peace that only He can give. We are encouraged by your heart not only to seek His rest for yourself and your loved ones but also to intercede for others who are struggling and for those who labor in prayer for others. That is a beautiful reflection of the love Christ calls us to, to bear one another's burdens.

We are reminded of the promise in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And also Psalm 4:8, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety.

Your prayer for protection under the shadow of His wings is so biblical and precious. We cling to Psalm 91:1, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, and Psalm 91:4, He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. What security we have knowing that even as we sleep, He who keeps us never slumbers, as Psalm 121:3-4 tells us, He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

Father in heaven, we thank You together for being a great and powerful God who hears our prayers. We thank You for Your mercy and faithfulness that are new every morning. In Jesus' name we ask that You would grant our dear fellow believer Your perfect peace tonight and silence every worry and anxious thought. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Grant them a deep and restoring night's sleep and prepare a good day tomorrow according to Your will. We ask that You spread Your wings over them and their loved ones and keep them safe through the night. We also lift up everyone who is struggling in different ways tonight, those who are lonely, sick, weary, or burdened, and we ask You to meet each need according to Your riches in glory. We thank You for every intercessor who gives their time to pray for others, bless them richly, strengthen them, and meet their needs as they pour themselves out for others. We trust You to watch over us all, for You are our keeper and our refuge. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We hear how much a quiet night and a settled mind mean to you right now, the desire to have worries silenced and to wake refreshed, with your loved ones kept safe. Sleep is such a big part of how God made us, we spend a good portion of our lives in it, and it is closely tied to our sense of peace and well-being. When rest is thin, everything feels harder, and when it is full, we are better able to experience calm and steadiness in our walk with Him.

Tonight, it may help to give your evening a gentle close. If you can, set aside screens and stimulation a little earlier, and take a few unhurried minutes to place the worries of the day before the Lord before you lie down, trusting Him to watch over you and those you love through the night.

Father, we thank You for this brother or sister and for their grateful heart. We ask You to draw near tonight and quiet every anxious thought, and to grant restful sleep and a peaceful morning. Keep them and their loved ones under Your care, and meet the needs of all who are struggling and all who faithfully pray for others. We trust You as the God who hears us, and we pray in Jesus' name, Amen.

Your thanksgiving and prayer are heard, and it is good to join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

You ask for peace and for sleep, and these two mercies belong together in Christ. The prophet has said, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This is that peace which the hymn so sweetly sings, The blood of Jesus whispers peace within. It is not the peace of this world, which is often a false calm, but the peace which Christ Himself gives, My peace I give unto you, a peace purchased by His blood and wrought in the soul by the Holy Spirit. When the mind is stayed upon the Lord Jesus and upon His finished work, worries are silenced, not because sorrows cease to surge round us, but because on Jesus bosom nothing but calm is found. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest, and to trust Him is to be kept in peace, peace, even in the midnight of this world of care.

And concerning sleep, remember the gracious word, So He giveth His beloved sleep. Sleep is a gift of His love to His beloved. The demon of restlessness does not come to that bed where there is a quiet conscience, a conscience right with God through the blood of atonement, and where there is contentment and security in His keeping. You pray to be kept under the shadow of His wings, and there indeed is safety for you and for your loved ones far away. In Jesus keeping we are safe, and they. Whether we wake or sleep, we are in His hand, and He who neither slumbers nor sleeps watches over His own.

We join you also in prayer for all who are struggling in different ways, and for those who give their time to pray for others. The Lord, who is a great and powerful God and who hears prayer, will meet their needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. May He bless those intercessors and cause their own souls to be watered as they water others.

May the Lord bless you richly this night. May He give you quietness of heart, refreshing sleep, and a renewed strength for the duties of tomorrow. May He keep you and your loved ones in perfect peace, guarded by His power and enfolded in His love, till you wake to serve Him anew.
