May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We give thanks with you to Jesus Christ our Lord for His help to you today, for strength at work and for grace to rest at home without turning to alcohol. Your gratitude is itself a sign of His mercy at work, and we join you in thanking God for the prayers of others and for this fellowship where burdens can be shared.

We hear your desire to continue one day at a time free from alcohol and from the fear and suffering that comes with alcohol use and withdrawal. God honors this daily dependence. As physicians apply medicine patiently until health returns, so the Lord works in us gradually, healing desire and will as we keep turning to Him. Do not grow weary if the struggle feels long. Keep seeking Him, keep walking in honesty, keep using the practical helps He provides, including wise counsel, accountability, and medical care. Continue to bring this need to Him each morning and each evening.

We thank God that some of the pain in your arm and elbow and hand has eased. We pray for complete healing and for wisdom to care for the body He has given you. Even when pain lessens, it is good stewardship to keep your doctor informed and to follow his guidance. If pain returns or worsens, seek care promptly, and even if it does not, let him know how you are doing so he can advise you well.

Your longing to be healthy and happy in order to care well for your wife and family and to serve your bosses, coworkers and customers faithfully is pleasing to God. Love is shown in this kind of faithful, everyday service. Ask the Lord to make you more like Christ in patience, kindness, self control and truthfulness, and He will shape you as a better husband, father and worker for His glory. Small faithful steps each day, speaking with grace, working with diligence, listening with love, are the way that change takes root.

We will pray for your wife and your adult son, that the Lord would give them desire and strength to drink less and smoke less, and for your son that he would be set free from marijuana. These habits harm the body and cloud the mind, and God who made us calls us to sobriety and clarity so we can love Him and others fully. We pray He will give them conviction, hope and practical help to turn away and to find healthier ways to cope and to rest.

We also lift up your adult daughter and her marriage and the child she carries. We ask God to strengthen their marriage in love and faithfulness, to protect her health and the health of her baby, and to fill their home with peace and joy as they prepare to welcome new life.

We pray now for your night. May the Lord grant you deep and peaceful rest, a clear mind and a happy heart in the morning, renewed to walk with Him and to do the work He gives you.

Father, we thank You for this brother and for Your help to him today. Keep him in Your grace and keep him from returning to alcohol. Heal his body where there is pain and give him wisdom to care for it well. Make him more like Your Son at home and at work. Have mercy on his wife and son and daughter, draw each of them closer to You, deliver them from what harms them, strengthen the marriage of his daughter and keep her and her child safe. Grant him rest tonight and wake him with hope. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.
