Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Praise God for helping you get through the weekend and being sober for 3 weeks! This is a great accomplishment in which you can be proud of. Praying that your wife, as well as your son, can see the change in you and will hopefully, in time, make their own efforts to better themselves. Thankfully, your daughter is doing well. As always, praying for you my friend, in the name of Jesus.

Thank you so much and again may God bless you and your family and best friends 🙏 Amen ###

We thank God with you for these three weeks of sobriety and join you in giving thanks to Jesus Christ for helping you through each day. It is right to give thanks in all things, and God is faithful to restore and strengthen those who turn to Him and persevere.

We bring your requests before the Lord and ask for His help for you to complete your projects and proposals correctly and on time this week, and to provide for the practical needs of your home including the thermostat. We pray that He will give you diligence and clarity in your work so that you may serve your bosses and your company well, and fulfill your responsibilities to your family as a husband and father.

We also pray for your wife and your adult children. We ask that the Lord Jesus, who came to preach deliverance to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, would set them free from addiction to alcohol, cigarettes and pot. This freedom does not come by adding more to satisfy the desire, but by taking the evil away and convincing the heart to turn from it. We pray that God would give them a desire for Him above those things, and the strength to walk away from them day by day.

We rejoice with you for your adult daughter and her recent marriage, and we pray for her and her husband. We ask the Lord to bless their covenant marriage as He designed it, to guard it, and if she is pregnant, to protect the life of the child and give health and grace to mother and child. We pray that their home would be built on Christ.

We encourage you to continue in prayer without ceasing and with perseverance. Scripture shows us the widow who prevailed by importunity, the friend who knocked at midnight until the door was opened, and the Canaanite woman who kept asking until the Lord answered. Though we are unworthy in ourselves, God hears those who keep seeking Him through Jesus Christ alone, for there is salvation in no other.

We pray that you will continue to grow as a husband, father and worker, bearing all things thankfully and looking to Christ for strength. May the Lord keep you sober, keep you close to Him, and complete the good work He has begun in you and in your family. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Rejoicing with you in what God has done in these three weeks without alcohol, and giving thanks to Jesus Christ for His help and strength each day. That is a real victory and it is good to see you wanting to honor Him with your life, your work and your family.

Alcohol takes a heavy toll on the body. The liver must work to process it and can be overworked by it, and it works against the nervous system, harming the brain and affecting a person both physically and mentally, bringing a person under its influence and control. Addiction of any kind can take a powerful hold on a life. A person can be drawn to it and pulled back to it even when he wants to be free. That is why your desire to walk free and to stay sober is so important, and why continued dependence on the Lord day by day matters so much. God is able to give strength where our own strength fails.

I am praying with you for the practical needs you mentioned, for wisdom and diligence to complete your projects and proposals correctly and well, and for provision for the thermostat for your house. God cares about the details of our lives and our responsibilities, and He is faithful to help us be trustworthy in the work He has given us to do for our employers and for those we serve.

I am also praying with you for your wife and your adult children. It is right to keep bringing them before the Lord concerning alcohol, cigarettes and marijuana. Do not grow weary in praying for them. Scripture shows Daniel understanding from the writings of Jeremiah that the time of captivity was coming to an end, and he gave himself to prayer and fasting and kept seeking God. In the same way we are called to watch and to persevere in prayer, not quitting before God answers in His perfect timing. Many things we ask for are not received simply because we stop praying too soon. Keep persevering, trusting God's timing and His power to free and to change hearts.

It is encouraging to hear that your adult daughter is doing well in her marriage, and that she may be expecting a child. Marriage is a gift from God as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and children are a blessing from Him. I will pray for her and her husband, for health and for God's grace and blessing upon their home and upon this new life if the Lord has indeed given it.

Thank you for wanting to be a better husband, father and employee. That desire itself is from the Lord. As you walk closely with Jesus, He will continue to shape your character and help you care well for your family and fulfill your responsibilities. Keep looking to Him, staying in His Word, and asking for His help each day. He who has helped you through these weeks is able to keep you and to continue the good work He has begun in you and in your family.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We rejoice with you over your third week of sobriety and thank God with you for His grace in helping you get through another weekend without drinking alcohol. We know this is a great victory and we give thanks for the strength He is giving you day by day.

We continue to bring your requests before the Lord together. We pray for your work, that God would give you focus, wisdom and diligence to complete your projects and proposals correctly and on time this week. We pray for His provision for the practical need of a new AC thermostat for your house. We lift up your wife and your adult kids and their needs before the Lord, asking Him to bring deliverance and freedom from addictions to alcohol and cigarettes and pot. We stand on the promise of 1 Cor 10:13 that God provides a way of escape and 2 Cor 5:17 that in Christ we are a new creation. We also join you in thanking God for your adult daughter, for her recent marriage, and for the possibility that she may be pregnant. We pray for His blessing and protection over her and her husband and over the precious life that may be growing, and we ask for His health and joy for their new family. We pray too that God will continue to help you be a better husband and a better father and a better person, and that He will help you continue to be a good employee who brings honor to Him through your work as taught in Col 3:23, so that you may care well for your family and fulfill your responsibilities. We claim Philip 4:13 and Isaiah 41:10 for you as you walk in His strength.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know how God has worked so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord will keep you close, guard your sobriety, provide for every need and draw your whole family closer to Himself. Amen.
