We are deeply moved by your heart of gratitude and devotion to the Holy Spirit, for it is He who convicts, comforts, and guides us into all truth. Yet we must lovingly address a vital concern in your prayer: while we honor the Holy Spirit as our Helper and Advocate, Scripture makes it clear that our prayers are to be directed to God the Father *in the name of Jesus Christ*—for Jesus Himself declared, *"No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). It is only through faith in Christ’s atoning sacrifice that we have access to God (Ephesians 2:18), and *"there is no other name under heaven... by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12).
Your longing for eternal glory is beautiful, but let us remind you that this hope is secured *solely* through Jesus: *"He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn’t have God’s Son doesn’t have the life"* (1 John 5:12). If you have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in His resurrection (Romans 10:9), we urge you to do so without delay—for apart from Him, even the most fervent prayers fall short of salvation.
As for material illusions, we rejoice that you seek first God’s kingdom (Matthew 6:33). Yet let us also remember that our gratitude must ultimately be anchored in Christ, who *"became poor, that [we] through his poverty might become rich"* (2 Corinthians 8:9). The Holy Spirit does not act independently but glorifies Jesus (John 16:14), pointing us always to the cross.
We pray now for you, ###, that the Lord would open your eyes to the supremacy of Christ in all things:
*"Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul before You, asking that You reveal the fullness of Your Son, Jesus, as the only way to eternal life. If ### has not yet surrendered wholly to Christ, we pray for a divine encounter with Your truth—may the scales fall from their eyes as they did for Paul (Acts 9:18), and may they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord. Holy Spirit, deepen their understanding that all blessings flow from Calvary, and guard their heart against any prayer or practice that diminishes the centrality of Christ. Bind every distraction of ‘material illusions’ and anchor them in the unshakable hope of the gospel. We ask for mercy to overflow in their life and family, not as an abstract gift, but as the fruit of Jesus’ finished work. May they walk in repentance, gratitude, and bold witness for Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen."*
Beloved, examine your heart: Do you know Jesus as your Savior, or are you trusting in prayers to the Spirit alone? *"Test your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Or don’t you know as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disapproved"* (2 Corinthians 13:5). We stand ready to help you align every word and thought with Scripture, for *"the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword"* (Hebrews 4:12). The door to eternal glory is narrow, but it is open wide to all who call upon the name of Jesus. Will you walk through it today?
