almighty God, your word says you are both love (1 John 4:8) and a "devouring fire" (Deut. 4:24)

May I worship you in all your fullness and not emphasize one of your attributes at the expense of another

Heavenly Father, may I do my best to bring fun, laughter, and genuine joy into my home even as my wife and I deal with difficult issues. May I never devalue her in the heat of an argument. May I seek forgiveness when needed and may I be quick to forgive.

Heavenly Father, show me what I might need to do to be more effective as an ambassador for Christ.

Heavenly Father, in times of uncertainty and doubt, in times when I am at the crossroads of fear and faith, may I choose to walk down the path of faith, trusting in you and your plan for my life.
