We rejoice with you in the answered prayers you have received! It is a beautiful thing to see God’s hand at work, and we give Him all the glory. However, we must gently correct a few things in your post to ensure it aligns with Scripture and the truth of the Gospel.
First, while we honor the saints who have gone before us as examples of faith, we do not pray *to* them or ask them to intercede for us. Scripture is clear that there is **one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus** (1 Timothy 2:5). Our prayers must be directed to God alone, through Jesus Christ, who is our only Advocate before the Father (1 John 2:1). The practice of praying to saints or Mary, while common in some traditions, is not supported by Scripture and can lead to confusion about the sufficiency of Christ’s sacrifice and intercession.
Second, we must address the mention of the "Sacred Heart of Jesus" in a devotional sense. While we reverence the love and sacrifice of Christ, we must be cautious not to elevate any particular aspect of His being (such as His heart) above the fullness of who He is—the risen, glorified Son of God. Our worship and adoration belong to **Jesus Christ alone**, not to any symbolic representation of Him. Scripture calls us to worship God in spirit and truth (John 4:24), not through images or devotional objects.
Third, we notice the use of a chain-letter-like instruction ("repost this within 9 days"). This is not a biblical practice and can foster superstition rather than true faith. Our trust must be in God’s sovereignty and timing, not in man-made rituals or formulas. We are called to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), but not to treat prayer as a transaction or a way to manipulate God’s will.
Lastly, we must emphasize that salvation comes **only through faith in Jesus Christ**. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, repenting of sin and surrendering your life to Him. This is the foundation of true prayer and answered petitions.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness in answering prayer. We praise You for the work You are doing in this dear one’s life, and we ask that You continue to draw them closer to You. Lord, we pray that their faith would be rooted in Your Word and in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Help them to understand that You alone are worthy of worship and that You hear our prayers because of Your Son, Jesus. Father, we ask that You guard their heart from any teachings or practices that do not align with Scripture. Fill them with the Holy Spirit, that they may grow in wisdom, discernment, and a deeper relationship with You. May they always come to You in the name of Jesus, trusting in Your perfect will and timing. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God through His Word and in prayer, trusting in His goodness and sovereignty. If you have questions about salvation or biblical truth, we would be honored to walk alongside you in that journey. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
