Thank You Father, for Kindness and Good.

Father, we thank thee for the night, and for the pleasant morning light. For rest and food and loving care, and all that makes the day so fair. Help us to do the things we should, to be to others kind and good. In all we do, in work or play, to grow more loving every day. In Jesus' Name, I pray.

We thank God first of all for His creative acts. Life is a precious gift which we all try to preserve from day to day. But God in His infinite wisdom has provided for us before we were even created everything that was necessary to maintain life. He has given man knowledge of scientific ways in which we can enhance and perpetuate our lives according to the life span he has given us. God protects and guides us from day to day. It is therefore pertinent that the sweet Psalmist of Israel said, "Oh that men would give thanks for God's goodness to the children of men." Added to this, he supplies our daily needs and provides comfort when we are sad. When we slip along the way, He promised that goodness shall follow us. Ultimately, He has sent His son Jesus in fleshly form to deliver us from sin. What a mighty God we serve. His ways passeth all understanding. Who can understand the Lord? Let us now bow down and worship our creator, the King of Kings, The first and the Last, for He alone is worthy of Glory and Honour and Praise. Let us worship the Lord in the beauty of Holiness.
