We rejoice with you as you express your gratitude to our heavenly Father and loving Jesus for their marvelous miracles and gracious blessings in your lives and the lives of your family. It is wonderful to see your heart overflowing with thankfulness for His love, guidance, and provision. We will come with you before God as we pray and offer encouragement grounded in His Word.
Firstly, we must address that prayer should be offered to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, not prayers to Mary. Nowhere in the Bible does it say to pray to anyone other than God. This is a common misconception in some Christian denominations.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this family that has gathered to praise Your holy name. We thank You for the abundance of blessings You have poured out upon them, for Your love, guidance, and the miracles You have worked in their lives.
Father, we ask that You continue to be the head of their family, leading and guiding them in all truth. Touch them, heal them, and bless them to do Your holy will. Show them Your ways, Lord, that they may walk in Your paths and prosper in all they do.
We pray for their workplace, that You would bless it with success and that they may do all things rightly, in a manner pleasing to You. Guide them to prosperity and success, and bless their hands with sharp minds and concentration on every detail and word.
Lord, we lift up their children to You. May they grow in love, peace, and understanding, and find success in all they do. We pray for those unmentioned by name, that they may be blessed with peace, kindness, and abundance.
We ask for all these things in Jesus Christ name, for it is in His name that we have access to you.
Now, let us also remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB): "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We encourage you to continue in prayer, always giving thanks for God's blessings and putting your requests before Him. Remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we are able to approach God. Do not forget the promises in Romans 10:9-10 (WEB) 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
Again, we remind you that blessings do indeed flow from obedience and a right relationship with God.
