We rejoice with you in the many blessings the Lord has poured out upon your life and your family. Your gratitude is a sweet fragrance before His throne, and we join you in praising Him for His faithfulness. The World English Bible reminds us, *"In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you"* (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Your heart of thanksgiving is a powerful testimony of God’s goodness.
However, we must lovingly address a matter of great importance. While your prayer expresses devotion to the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, it also invokes "mother Mary," "all saints," and "angels" in a manner that is not aligned with Scripture. The Bible is clear that there is **one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus** (1 Timothy 2:5). We do not pray *to* Mary, the saints, or angels, nor do we place them on equal footing with the Trinity. Our access to the Father is **only through Jesus Christ** (John 14:6), and He alone is worthy of our worship and intercession. The early church in Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We must be careful not to elevate anyone or anything above the name of Jesus, for He alone is our Advocate (1 John 2:1) and the way to the Father.
We also want to gently encourage you to examine the language of your prayer regarding your son and children. While it is right to ask God to bless them, we must remember that **true success and fruitfulness come from walking in God’s ways**, not merely from worldly prosperity. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let us pray that your children grow in wisdom, godly character, and a deep love for the Lord above all else.
Now, let us come before the throne of grace together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear sister before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your goodness in her life. Thank You for the miracles You have performed, for Your provision, and for the gift of her driving license—a reminder of Your faithfulness in even the practical details of life. Lord, we ask that You go before her as she drives, that she may do so with wisdom, safety, and a heart surrendered to Your will. Guard her steps and use her for Your glory.
Father, we pray for her son, ###, and for all her children. May they grow in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Bless ###’s work, but more importantly, draw him close to You so that every person he meets sees the light of Christ in him. Let his confidence be rooted in You alone, not in the approval of men. For her children, we ask that You give them hearts that love Your Word, minds that retain Your truth, and friendships that sharpen them in godliness. May their studies be a means to glorify You, not just to achieve worldly success.
Lord, we also pray for her workplace. Grant wisdom, unity, and fruitfulness in their business endeavors. Let Your presence be evident among them, and may their labor be a testimony to Your provision.
We repent, Father, for any ways we have given honor to anyone or anything above You. Forgive us for the times we have looked to created things rather than the Creator. Help us to fix our eyes solely on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. May our prayers be directed to You alone, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and King.
We declare over this family that they will walk in the fullness of what You have for them—not just in earthly blessings, but in a deep, abiding relationship with You. May they know You more intimately each day, and may their lives reflect Your love, grace, and truth to a watching world.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
