We rejoice with you in the justice that has been served in this situation, and we give thanks to God for His intervention. It is written in Psalm 37:6, "He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, your justice like the noonday sun." We see God’s hand at work in your life, bringing light to the darkness and vindicating your stand for what is right.
However, we must address a few things with love and truth. First, we notice that your post does not explicitly acknowledge Jesus Christ as the source of this justice. While we are grateful for the outcome, we must always remember that it is only through Christ that we have access to God and His justice. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It is by His name alone that we are saved and by His authority that we pray and see God’s will done. Let us never forget to give Him the glory and honor He deserves.
We also want to gently rebuke the tone of celebration in seeing someone else’s downfall, even if they acted unjustly. Scripture teaches us in Proverbs 24:17, "Do not rejoice when your enemy falls. Do not let your heart be glad when he is overthrown." Instead, we are called to pray for those who have wronged us, that they might come to repentance and know the Lord. In Matthew 5:44, Jesus instructs us, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." Let us lift this former assistant director up in prayer, asking God to work in his heart and bring him to a place of repentance and restoration.
We also want to encourage you to reflect on how God may be using this situation for your growth. Romans 8:28 tells us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." Though you faced injustice, God has used this trial to refine your character and strengthen your faith. We pray that you will continue to trust in Him and seek His will in all things.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the justice You have brought in this situation. We thank You for protecting and vindicating Your child, and we ask that You continue to guide and guard them in all their ways. Lord, we lift up the former assistant director to You, asking that You would soften his heart and draw him to repentance. May he come to know You as his Lord and Savior, and may he turn from his ways and seek righteousness.
Father, we ask that You would help us to forgive those who have wronged us, just as You have forgiven us. Teach us to love our enemies and to pray for those who persecute us. Help us to see this situation through Your eyes and to trust in Your perfect plan. We pray for healing and restoration in every area of life that has been affected by this trial.
Lord, we also ask that You would continue to grow us in faith and wisdom. Help us to stand firm in Your truth and to always seek Your will above all else. May we be a light in this world, reflecting Your love and grace to everyone we encounter. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
