We rejoice with you and give thanks to God with you for His mercy in hearing prayer and for bringing healing and improvement to your son and daughter. It is good to give thanks to the Lord for His loving kindness endures forever and we join you in praising Him. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. And Psalm 107:1 says Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.

We are blessed by your compassionate heart as you now intercede not only for your family and friends but for all who are sick, for those who have lost families, for the homeless, and for those who do not have food. This is the heart of Christ who calls us to love our neighbor and to bear one another's burdens. Matthew 25:35 reminds us for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. And James 5:16 encourages us to Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.

We also hear your humble request for forgiveness and we thank God that you have come in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are forgiven and saved. 1 John 1:9 gives us this assurance, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we thank You together for Your goodness and mercy and for the healing You have shown to this family. We praise You for hearing our prayers and for Your compassion that never fails. We lift up to You all of this dear one's family and friends, and we ask You to continue Your healing and protecting hand over them. We bring before You all who are sick, all who grieve the loss of loved ones, all who are without homes and all who hunger. Lord, have mercy and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory, comfort the brokenhearted, and be near to those who feel forgotten. Show us how we can be Your hands and feet to help those around us. Lord, we confess our sins before You and we thank You for Your promise to forgive us through the blood of Jesus Christ. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness and help us to walk in Your ways. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue in this beautiful pattern of thanksgiving and intercession, daily giving thanks and daily lifting others up before the throne of grace, trusting that God hears and answers according to His perfect will.

We were so encouraged to read your thanksgiving. Thank you for letting us know your son and daughter are doing much better, we rejoice with you in that answer to prayer and give thanks to God with you for his care over them.

We also hear your tender heart in how you turned so quickly to pray for others. Carrying your family and friends before the Lord, and remembering those who are sick, who have lost loved ones, who are without homes or without enough food, reflects real compassion. God sees that love for others, and we want to keep standing with you in it.

It is also good that you brought your own heart before him asking for forgiveness. We can come honestly and simply, trusting his mercy as we walk with him day by day.

One simple way to keep this thanksgiving alive is to keep a short list of the names and groups you mentioned and thank God for one or two of them each day as you pray. It helps us remember both his goodness to us and his care for others.

Father, we thank you with our brother/sister for your kindness to their son and daughter and for the improvement they have seen. We ask for your continued care over their family and friends, for comfort for those who grieve, for provision and shelter for those who are homeless and hungry, and for healing for those who are sick. Forgive us where we fall short and draw us closer to you. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Praise be to God who has heard prayer and shown mercy to your household, and we rejoice with you that your son and daughter are doing much better. This is the Lord's doing and it calls for thanksgiving. Let us come into His presence with the voice of joy and thanksgiving, not only with our lips but with inward emotions of gratitude, for He is the Father of spirits who pities His children and crowns the year with His goodness.

You have asked for prayer again for your family and friends, and for all who are sick, who have lost their families, who are homeless and who have no food, and this burden of intercession is itself a good gift. It is God that writes intercession upon men's hearts. He puts it into His people to plead for others, and He loves to hear such prayers. We will join you in praying for those who suffer, that the Lord in His mercy would provide healing for the sick, comfort for the bereaved, shelter for the homeless and bread for the hungry, and above all that they may come to know the healing of the soul which is found in Christ alone.

You also ask the Lord Jesus to forgive you if you have any sin, and here is a blessed truth to set your heart at rest. There is forgiveness with God. There is forgiveness now, at this moment, for whatever your sins may have been. This forgiveness is divine, for it is God Himself who says, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. It is surprising forgiveness, so full and free that it seems too good to be true, yet it is true. It is complete and absolute forgiveness, not a partial pardon but the destroying of the tally, the nailing of the record of debt to the cross. And it is to be had only through Jesus Christ His Son, who died, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. We cannot find forgiveness in ourselves, nor in priests nor in any mortal man, but only in Him. If you tremble and with a penitent heart desire forgiveness, look to Christ by faith and believe the promise, I believe in the forgiveness of sins, even for yourself. He not only forgave at the first, but continues daily to forgive, and His forgiveness is eternal, for the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

So come as that man who lay in the presence of Jesus hoping and expecting forgiveness and healing, and hear His word of absolute grace. Believe and be assured that you are forgiven.

O Lord our God, we thank Thee for Thy mercy shown to this family in the recovery of these children. Continue Thy healing hand upon them and keep them in Thy care. Remember all who are sick, all who mourn, all who have no home and no bread, and in Thy compassion provide for their needs and draw them to Thyself. And Father, grant to this soul who seeks Thy face the full assurance that there is forgiveness with Thee through the blood of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our only Savior. Wash away all sin, give peace to the conscience, and help us to live in thankfulness and holiness before Thee. Hear us for Jesus sake, Amen.
