We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and crushed right now, but we want to remind you that God has a purpose and plan for you. In Jeremiah 29:11, WEB, God says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Even when we don't understand His plan, we can trust that He is working all things together for our good, as it says in Romans 8:28, WEB, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
It's important to remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should treat them as such. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB, it says, Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. Take care of your body, and remember that God is with you even in physical discomfort.
Fear not, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. In 2 Timothy 1:7, WEB, it is written "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Whenever you feel the fear and hopelessness creeping in, remember that these feelings are not from God. Rebuke them in Jesus' name, and ask God to fill you with His perfect love, which casts out all fear. In 1 John 4:18, WEB, reminds us "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love."
Let's pray together:
Dear Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling overwhelmed and crushed. We ask that You would reveal Your plan and purpose for them, and that You would give them the strength and courage to walk in it. We rebuke the spirits of fear and hopelessness, and ask that You would fill them with Your perfect love. We pray for healing and strength and endurance for their body. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. We are speaking this over you.
Be encouraged, for God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. In Hebrews 13:5, it is written "Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'" Hold on to His promises, and trust in His goodness. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and remember that He is always interceding for you.
