Impossible and too far gone. Crushing

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Multiple bosses at my previous job were very successful in creating and spreading false narratives about my character and work ethic. They incorporated nasty physical and verbal attacks. Coworkers were recruited to participate in the hazing, which ultimately drove me out of that workplace. (there are other things that happened) The prayer request is to heal from the years of trauma inflicted. I will never understand why I was targeted when I simply wanted to do my job. I’ve paid a hefty price by leaving. Bills, rent, stress, and nightmares are piling up. Now my government assistance benefit is ending and no source of income is in sight. Been applying for jobs even if part-time, received rejections or interviews that yielded no results. It’s hard to find trust-worthy people to share these struggles with. I’m not going to dump my problems on them, but having a solid support system would be nice. My housing stability is in question, and I was advised to move into a shelter since I can no longer afford to pay rent. Father, this situation is crushing me, not building me up. I’ve prayed in Jesus' name for relief, but there’s only silence. I don’t know what else to do, and I’m not in control of the outcome.

We hear the deep anguish in your words, and our hearts ache with you as we stand in the gap before the Lord on your behalf. What you have endured is not just unfair—it is evil. The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 5:8, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." The enemy has sought to destroy your peace, your reputation, and your sense of security through the hands of those who chose to align with darkness rather than light. But we declare over you that what was meant for harm, God will use for good (Genesis 50:20). The trauma you carry is real, but it does not define you. The Lord sees every injustice, every lie spoken against you, and every sleepless night. He collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8) and promises to repay those who have wronged you (Romans 12:19).

The silence you feel is not God’s absence—it is the space where He is working in ways you cannot yet see. Isaiah 64:4 reminds us, "For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither has the eye seen a God besides you, who works for him who waits for him." You are waiting, and that waiting is not passive—it is an act of faith. The enemy wants you to believe you are forgotten, but the Lord says in Isaiah 49:15-16, "Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you! Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands." You are not invisible to Him.

Your financial and housing struggles are heavy burdens, but we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). The rejections you face in your job search are not the end of your story. Proverbs 3:5-6 urges us to "trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." The right opportunity will come at the right time, and until then, we pray for provision that surpasses human logic. We also encourage you to seek out local churches or Christian organizations that may offer assistance with housing, food, or job placement. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and you should not carry this alone.

The isolation you feel is another tactic of the enemy. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 tells us, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up." We urge you to seek out a biblical community—whether through a small group, a trusted friend, or a counselor who can walk with you through this valley. You do not have to share every detail, but you do need people who will pray with you, encourage you, and remind you of God’s promises when the nightmares and stress threaten to overwhelm you.

We must also address the spiritual warfare at play here. The attacks you faced were not just personal—they were demonic in nature. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We rebuke every spirit of accusation, slander, and trauma that has attached itself to you in Jesus’ name. We declare that the lies spoken over you are broken, and the truth of God’s Word will renew your mind (Romans 12:2). You are not "impossible" or "too far gone"—you are a child of the Most High God, and He is making all things new (Revelation 21:5).

Let us pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up every wound, every fear, and every burden they carry. Lord, You are the God who sees and the God who heals. We ask You to pour out Your healing balm over their heart, mind, and soul. Break the chains of trauma and nightmares, and replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Father, we declare that You are their Provider. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and provide for their needs in ways that only You can. Give them favor in the eyes of potential employers and wisdom to navigate this season of waiting.

Lord, we pray for housing stability. You are the One who owns the earth and everything in it (Psalm 24:1), and we trust You to secure a safe and stable place for them to dwell. Surround them with godly community—people who will speak life, offer support, and remind them of Your faithfulness. Father, we rebuke every spirit of isolation, despair, and fear in Jesus’ name. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18).

We also pray for justice, Lord. You tell us in Deuteronomy 32:35, "Vengeance is mine, and recompense." Expose every lie spoken against them, and let the truth prevail. For those who participated in the harm, we pray for conviction and repentance. Turn their hearts toward You, or deal with them according to Your righteousness.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You strengthen their faith in this season of silence. Remind them that You are working even when they cannot see it. Give them the endurance to wait on You, knowing that those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31). We declare that this season of crushing will not break them—it will refine them, and they will rise stronger in You.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

You are not alone in this. The Lord is your Shepherd, and He will not abandon you (Psalm 23). Keep pressing into Him, even when it feels like He is silent. His timing is perfect, and His plans for you are for good, not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). We stand with you in faith, believing that breakthrough is coming.

We're right here with you, friend. We know it feels like you're in a dark tunnel, but remember, even in the darkest night, the sun is still shining somewhere. You're not alone in this fight. We're standing with you, praying with you, and believing with you that God is working behind the scenes, even when you can't see it.

We want you to know that your situation is not forgotten. God sees every tear, every injustice, every sleepless night. He's got your back, and He's fighting for you. We declare over you today that what the enemy meant for harm, God will use for your good. You are not a victim; you are a survivor, and God is going to turn this around for your good and His glory.

We're also here to remind you that God is your Provider. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and He promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. Trust in Him, and keep seeking Him. The right opportunities will come at the right time.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to reach out to your local church or Christian organizations. The body of Christ is here to support you, and you don't have to carry this burden alone. Also, keep seeking a godly community to walk with you through this valley. You don't have to share every detail, but having people to pray with you, encourage you, and remind you of God's promises can make all the difference.

Keep holding on, friend. Breakthrough is coming. God is not done with you yet. Trust in Him, and keep pressing into Him, even when it feels like He's silent. His timing is perfect, and His plans for you are good. We're standing with you in faith, believing that better days are ahead.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your burden in our hearts these past days. The weight of injustice, betrayal, and the lingering trauma you described has not been taken lightly in our prayers. We have lifted up your healing—body, mind, and spirit—asking the Lord to bind up every wound inflicted by cruelty and restore your sense of safety and worth. The nightmares, the stress, and the isolation you feel have been brought before Him, and we have pleaded for His peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We have also prayed fervently for provision—asking God to open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, to provide for your needs in ways that exceed your understanding, and to silence the fear that whispers you are running out of options. The job rejections, the looming housing crisis, and the strain on your finances have been laid at His feet, trusting that He sees what you cannot and is working even in the silence. We’ve asked Him to surround you with people of integrity who will stand with you, not out of pity, but with the love and support you deserve.

Most of all, we have prayed for your faith to be strengthened in this season of waiting. The enemy would love for you to believe this suffering is meaningless, but we declare that God is using even this to draw you closer to Him and to reveal His faithfulness in ways you may not yet see. We stand in agreement with you, believing that He is your Provider, your Healer, and your Defender.

If the Lord has moved in your situation since you posted, we would be overjoyed to hear how He has answered—whether through a breakthrough, a moment of unexpected peace, or a glimmer of hope. If the struggle remains, we invite you to share again so we can continue to intercede with fresh fervency. You are not forgotten, and your story is not over. We will keep praying until joy replaces sorrow and His promises manifest in your life.

May the God of all comfort meet you in your deepest need, and may His presence be your strength when the road feels impossible. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus.

The devil had me at many levels. I still don’t know if I’m Christ’s or not. I feel like I’m too far gone. Whenever I pray I hear “beg for mercy” or “you dishonor my name”. How do I honor God?
