Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen

Tell me the truth dear Lord! Seven years.

The seven years thing kind of scared me honestly, for my Pastor took seven years to marry his wife even though they were both Christian. The Lord told her he would be her husband, she still had to wait that long!

Funny  she always brings it up in church,  I guess I would be the same way. However, in my case it took me seven years to start listening, because since 2006 I was only half listening to God and now this is the first year I am fully desiring God's will in every aspect of my life. So he used something that will actually catch my attention to open my eyes.
