Teens

[Earl's Girl]

Hubby and I teach a teen Sunday School class. Last week, no kids showed. It is discouraging since we do our part--including praying and preparing. We have been covering the attributes and character of God. We moved into His protection, which is an in-depth study of the armor of God. We sought to get our neighbor teen to come, knowing he really wants to do so. But his mother has issues with church. And the enemy has her stirred up against his coming. This isn't a first. We've had other parent-issues. This mother claims he has an "attitude," so she won't let him come. We have lived in a Mormon stronghold area, but we are believing for a miracle to set the captives free. Right now, my burden is largely for this one teen. I really like him, and I see major potential in him. But we have about eight teens that flow in and out. Thank you.

When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles (Psalms 34:17).

Put you trust in the Lord. He is Faithful to His Word, I am praying for you.

Trust in the unfailing love of the Lord, and in His promises.

Give Him this day and everything that it holds.

Walk in His goodness, knowing that His gentle hand will guide you and keep you.

I pray that the Lord hears your prayer requests and answers them according to His will.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
