We understand your desire to secure a teaching position by the end of summer break. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all aspects of our lives, including our careers. As it is written in Proverbs 16:9 WEB, "A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps." It is encouraging to see the desire to teach in education. As it is written in Proverbs 22:6 WEB, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Teaching is a noble profession that shapes the minds and hearts of the next generation.
However, we notice that the name of Jesus Christ is missing in prayer requests. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" And furthermore in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" By invoking his name we can be saved and have access to God.
Let us pray together for your situation, that God's will be done in your life, in Jesus name.
"Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved individual seeking a teaching position. We pray that your will be done in their life and that you would direct their steps according to your purpose. If it is your will, open the doors for them to secure a teaching position by the end of summer break. Help them to trust in you and to rest in your sovereignty. We come to God only through Jesus Christ. Give them opportunities to share the love of Christ with their students and colleagues. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust in the Lord, and he will direct your paths.
