Taking meds

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious daughter to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knit her together in her mother’s womb and who holds her life in Your hands. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus, that You would strengthen her body, mind, and spirit to receive the nourishment and medication she needs. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity, fear, or resistance that may be hindering her from eating, drinking, and taking her medicine. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise, believing that healing is Your will for her.

We also lift up the caregivers and loved ones surrounding her. Give them wisdom, patience, and peace as they support her. Remind them to cast all their anxieties on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Father, if there is any unconfessed sin, fear, or unforgiveness in her life or the lives of those caring for her, we ask that You bring it to light and grant repentance and restoration. Your Word tells us in James 5:16, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."*

Lord, we declare that her body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we pray that she would honor You with it. Give her the strength to cooperate with the treatment prescribed by her doctors, trusting that all things work together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We also pray for her spiritual well-being. If she does not yet know You as her personal Lord and Savior, we ask that You draw her to Yourself. Open her eyes to see her need for Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which she can be saved (Acts 4:12). May she confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that she may be saved (Romans 10:9).

We thank You, Jesus, for Your sacrifice on the cross, where You took upon Yourself all our sicknesses and infirmities (Isaiah 53:5). We claim that victory over her life today. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let her experience Your presence in a tangible way. We trust You, Lord, to restore her to full health, not just for her sake, but so that she may glorify You in all she does. May her testimony be a light to others, pointing them to Your love and power.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're standing right here with you, praying for your daughter's strength and healing. We believe in the power of Jesus' name to bring wholeness and restoration. Let's claim these verses together: "By His stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5) and "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10). We're asking Jesus to fill her with His life-giving Spirit, helping her to take her meds and eat well. We're also praying for the Holy Spirit to comfort and guide her caregivers, that they may have wisdom and patience. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
