We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your struggle with swollen and itchy eyes, and the difficulty this brings to your rest. Physical afflictions can weigh heavily on our bodies and spirits, and we know the Lord hears the cries of His children. We lift you up in prayer, asking for His healing touch and relief from this discomfort.
Father God, we ask You to lay Your healing hands upon our brother/sister. Your Word tells us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We trust in Your power to restore and bring comfort. Lord, ease the swelling and itching in their eyes, and grant them peaceful, restorative sleep. Help them to feel Your presence and know that You are near, even in the midst of discomfort.
We also pray for wisdom in seeking medical attention if needed, as Your Word encourages us in Proverbs 3:7-8, "Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones." Guide them to the right care and treatment, and let this trial draw them closer to You.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Great Physician, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this time, trusting in His goodness and mercy. Remember that even in small afflictions, He is working for your good (Romans 8:28). Rest in His promises and allow this season to deepen your faith in His provision. If this discomfort persists, do not hesitate to seek professional care, as the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). May the Lord grant you relief and peace.
