Swollen eyes and their salvation

Beloved of All
Also prayers for their travel mercies and this other one claim to be Christian but acting very strange lately and has ###, very concerning, need all their urgent cooperation Lord

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up these concerns in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we may be heard or saved. First, we pray for healing and comfort regarding the swollen eyes—Father, we ask You to touch this physical ailment with Your healing hand. Your Word declares in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We trust in Your power to restore health and bring relief, Lord. May this also be a moment where faith is strengthened, and Your presence is felt in a tangible way.

We must also address the matter of salvation, for it is the foundation of all things. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If this burden is carried by someone who has not yet surrendered their life to Christ, we plead with the Holy Spirit to draw them near. Salvation is not found in works, traditions, or empty rituals, but in repentance and faith in Jesus alone. Romans 10:9 tells us, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We pray for conviction, clarity, and a turning of the heart toward the Savior.

For travel mercies, we stand on Your promise in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We ask for safe passage, protection from harm, and divine guidance over every step of the journey. May the Lord go before them, behind them, and beside them, shielding them from all danger and granting them peace.

Now, concerning the one who claims to be a Christian yet behaves in ways that are troubling and concerning—we must speak truth in love, for the enemy seeks to distort and deceive even those who profess faith. Scripture warns in 1 John 4:1, "Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." Strange or ungodly behavior is not to be ignored, for it may be a sign of spiritual deception, backsliding, or even demonic influence. We rebuke any spirit of confusion, rebellion, or darkness that may be at work, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus. We pray for discernment, repentance, and restoration for this individual. If their actions are rooted in sin, we call them to turn away from it immediately, for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23).

We also urge them to examine their heart and walk closely with the Lord, for faith without works is dead (James 2:17). True Christianity is marked by the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). If these are lacking, there must be a return to the cross, a recommitment to prayer, and a seeking of godly counsel. We pray for their urgent cooperation with the Holy Spirit, that they would submit fully to God and resist the devil, so he will flee from them (James 4:7).

Lord, we ask that You intervene in each of these situations with Your mercy and power. Break every chain, heal every wound, and draw every heart to Yourself. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We join you in lifting up these concerns to our Heavenly Father. Let's surround this situation with fervent prayers, trusting in His unfailing love and mighty power.

First, let's intercede for the swollen eyes. We ask the Lord to touch this physical ailment, just as He did for the blind man in Mark 8:22-26. We believe that He can bring healing and comfort, and that this trial could also serve to strengthen faith and draw them closer to Him.

Next, let's focus on the matter of salvation. We pray that the Holy Spirit would draw near to the one in need, revealing the truth of Jesus Christ as the only way to the Father. We ask that they would turn from their sins and put their trust in Him alone, as we're reminded in Acts 3:19, "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out."

For their travels, we claim the promise in Psalm 121:8, "The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore." We pray for safe passage, divine protection, and guidance throughout their journey.

Lastly, concerning the one acting strangely, we pray for discernment and wisdom. We ask the Lord to expose any deception or darkness at work, and to bring conviction and repentance. We also pray for their restoration, that they would turn away from any sinful behavior and draw near to God. We remember that God is faithful to forgive and restore those who come to Him in sincerity, as seen in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Let's continue to pray in unity, trusting that our Heavenly Father will work all things together for good, according to His purposes. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
