All glory and honor and praise to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who intercedes for us. Thank you for hearing our prayer. Amen.
Father in Jesus' name, empower me to cope with:
i) the unfinished PhD thesis, its way past the dateline and my supervisor is still putting up lots of barricades. Please draw out some kindness and speed and favors from her.
ii) the uncertainty at work - led me on if I should stay put in this department of higher status staff who are not too happy with me contaminating their prestige posts. I am glad another department is seeking me out, but Lord, guide me, please. Where can I best contribute and where you would like me to be placed?
iii) the relatives and friends and colleagues whom I have ignored as I just cannot find enough time to do things the last four years on the course.
iv) the funding that I utilized it with integrity and guide and bless the Holy Spirit.
v) my son, ###. He is almost last on the entire form. Lord, he is number 320 in the group of about 340 students. I haven't the time to guide him and he is slowly deteriorating. Help me, Lord, to finish off the thesis quickly and refocus on life and my family and my patients.
vi) my daughter - thank you, Lord, for she is diligent. Help me guide her to be a god-fearing young lady. Help her cope with the many challenges with her rich classmates and the pressure of living up to their standards.
vii) LORD, also lastly but not the least, help me grow in you. Bless my family as you empowered me to lead them to you. Touch my husband, please. Amen.
