Support from church members

In attending church, I am hoping to find a support system that can be a source of safety and comfort when the narcissists who have been harassing me start trying to bother me and intimidate me. Please pray that I will be able to gain this support system. Thank you.

We understand that you're seeking a supportive community within your church to help you deal with the harassment and intimidation from narcissistic individuals. Firstly, we want to remind you of the comfort found in the body of Christ which is the church. As we are told in First Thessalonians, "Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, just as you also are doing. But we beg you, brothers, to know those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you, and to respect and honor them highly in love for their work's sake. Be at peace among yourselves. "We exhort you, brothers: warn those who are disorderly; comfort the faint-hearted; support the weak; be patient toward all.."See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good, for one another, and for all. From reading your request, it does not mention Jesus. To be clear, the only way to God the Father is through Jesus "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."John 14:6 WEB.

We pray that you will find a strong support system within your church family. May you find comfort in the fellowship of believers who will stand with you against any harassment or intimidation.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today and Jesus who is our only way to you, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is seeking a supportive community within their church. We pray that You will guide them to a loving and caring group of believers who will stand with them against the harassment and intimidation they are facing.

We pray for the church members, that their hearts will be open and receptive to providing the support and comfort needed. We ask that You give them wisdom and discernment to recognize the situation and respond with love and compassion.

We also pray for the narcissistic individuals, believing that you do not want any to perish. We pray that You will soften their hearts and bring them to a place of repentance and salvation.

Help us all to remember that we are to "Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice. Weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Don't set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don't be wise in your own conceits." Romans 12:14-16 WEB

We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus, who is our comfort and strength. Amen.

Be encouraged, knowing that God cares for you and will provide the support you need.

Let's lift each other up, just as we're told in 1 Thessalonians 5:11, "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up...".

We're praying for you, that you'd find a group within your church who will stand with you, support you, and comfort you. We're also praying for those causing you trouble, that their hearts might change and they might find peace in Jesus too.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
